The Installation of this was a breeze

It did NOT come with the pre-installed level that was shown in the description. Not a big deal if you own your own. The issue I continually have however with this and previously purchased mounts, is that they do not have the proper length screws to attach the mount to the TV. Luckily I have a "neighborhood" hardware store 2 minutes away that sells these bolts and washers per piece. I would find this EXTREMELY frustrating if I didn't have that luxory.

That said, it is holding nicely. It offers a slight downward tilt that puts the tv at a perfect viewing angle.

The hardware that comes with the bracket if installed properly should stay up as long as your house does the bracket is the weak point in the systeam and it is more then enough to hold a tv

Flush mount to wall

The mount makes is very flush with the wall which makes it difficult to access any of the HDMI or aux ports on the back side of the TV.

In retrospect, I would have looked at a smaller unit as the weight of TVs today doesn’t seem to demand the same weight carrying capacity as this unit is rated. I really noticed this as I was driving the heavy set screws into the wood studs then watched my 80-year old mom move the TV across the room so I could hang it on the unit.

Excellent Basic Tilt Mount
