It may be "directional" but just hangs out of my phone. So difficult to "direct" - picks up an impressive amount of background noise.

I ordered this for curbside pickup and it never happened and out of the blue I was notified it is being shipped to me on a random day. Upon use I find my laptop mic works better on its own than this one. Definitely returning this one. Doesnt do what I expected of a decent mic. But given the whole COVID situation we are all trying out brands we aren't used to so that's bound to happen.

I bought this on line went to the store and picked it up in an hour . Got out to my car to check it out there was nothing in the box! It was opened and then sealed back up. I had to return it and reorder from another store.

This did not work at all for me. It had great reviews but didn't work for me. I returned it.

When I saw this microphone on the bestbuy.com website, I was happy to see an affordable solution to my video sound but skeptical at the same time. I read some of the other reviews and bought it. Man am I glad I did. The one thing I noticed is that if you are indoors or a quiet place, you MUST not use the wind cover that comes with it. It seems to muffle the sound. I just use it without and the sound is very crisp and clear. For the price, you can't beat it, I tried.
I would recommend this to a friend
