I clipped it to a stand in the center of a large conference table with eight people seated around and a TV at the head of the table for the two who attended virtually. I was using it to create a live transcript on the Otter AI app. One reviewer stated that people's speech was coming through the speakers. Unfortunately, I am DeafBlind and use Bluetooth to stream speech to my cochlear implant sound processors and require speech output used with VoiceOver (screen reader) so that I can hear to navigate my phone. When plugging into the lightning port the phone must have assumed it was headphones so it canceled streaming to my sound processors Which meant I could not hear everyone's speech nor could I hear VoiceOver reading the items on the screen. I will contact Apple support and see if they can add a selection feature when anything is attached via the lightning port. There should be an option to select headphones, microphone, flash drive or keyboard. I wonder if the same thing occurs if someone is using Bluetooth headphones or AirPods. This would have received a five star reading if I was able to continue streaming sound/speech through my sound processors. I will be returning this microphone.

I do webcasting from my I-phone, and there was a lot of background static on Facebook. This mic has seemed to eliminate most of that. Not all, but much better.
