I spent nearly 30 years in broadcasting. This little gem does the job. Good clean sound. Comes with a great wind screen as well. From 5 feet away, you might as well be sitting 1 inch away from the microphone. Easy to mount and dismount.

Good product. Used this for a small video production, attached to a rig on my iPhone 12 Pro. Clear sound, low feedback. Certainly not top of the line, but its a good mic.

I bought a more expensive microphone from RODE and returned it because of WiFi interference. This is a great little mic at about half the price and no interference. Works well for at home voice overs. Comes with mic cables for both cellphone and DSLR.

I have bought many microphones because of my work and the Saramonic mic is a good value mic for elevating the sount quality of your camera footage compared to having no mic. RODE is usually a popular brand and I find that it's overpriced and at the same quality as Saramonic, if not worse for some models of RODE. Even then, though, the audio is still fine, not amazing in providing a verg clear and de-noised sound.

Great budget mic and it captures sound very well, i would like to see included other than just the hot shoe mount.

It seems like a great product, however my camera did not recognize it and won't work. I guess my camera DSLR is not compatible with this particular mic. I will be returning it.

Voices sound nice and full. Huge increase in quality compared to the built-in camera mic. My only complaint is the subtle background static noise but it’s not a huge problem.

If you want to film at high quality, I recommend getting a microphone. This one works great, is light weight and the sound quality is awesome!!

This work out as it say it would. I'll just say make sure you got the right cable to plug into your camera, I had to get different plugger to plug into another plugger and it was all convoluted.

Works really well with my DSLR camera. Light weight and compact.

Great shotgun mic. Light weight but captures great sound on the go.

If you’re looking for a mic with professional level sonics and control you’re going to want to go back to the camera microphones product page, hit sort and filter, hit the “price” down tab and select the bottom 3, maybe 4, ranges. That being said, this is a $59 shotgun mic that pics up a lot of sound and I can’t imagine you’ll do any better at or around $59. It gets every bit of five stars from me.

This has been a very good item and its worth every penny. The sound is clear and no back noise. I have done 2 videos for my communication class and both have been great in sound thanks to this mic.
