I was looking to buy a mic for my DSLR Sony A7 lll and I was looking into the Rose mic for 160$ but I chose this one instead because I didn’t feel like spending that much and this mic is excellent exceeded all expectations I can even use on any headphone jack port. Very Good Microphone for the price!

It seemed to do what I needed and was relatively easy to set up. I do feel that an Iphone adapter should have been included in the packaging.

This microphone is being used with a Mevo livestream camera to livestream our church services on Facebook and You Tube. We have used it now several weeks and it has picked up our singers with good audio quality.

The quality for the price it’s phenomenal. It does really well with noise cancellation. The sound is clear when recording.

I have to be honest. I was super impressed with this little mic and still am. However, the mic snapped off the mounting plate that slides on top of your camera within the first couple of days. I saw the plate was connected to the mic via a small, short screw and the screw appeared to be loose, so I tightened it and they have remained together since then. It’s just a little wobbly on top of my camera, because I truly think the screw maybe too short, but none of the wobble is heard on the audio.

Sould way better than built in mic on my sonh A7. Would recomend for something entry levey.

This was the best addition I've made to my Canon DSLR! The camera shoots great video, indoors or out, and now it picks up the sound FAR better than the built-in mic. I've used it for live broadcasting, family movies, and at my desk with virtual meeting platforms. I love it!

I bought this to use with my camera so I could get better sound. It was easy to hook up and it works well.

I had a critical event to video with great to good audio. Great it was and glad I took the risk on a new piece of equipment.

It’s a little too crisp. Not an audio expert but it needs a dead cat on top of the black foam for sure!

The mic is great, it also filters out noise that’s not needed.

I was a bit nervous about this product but I’m glad I purchased it. Sound is great. Captures my voice from 5ft away with no issues.

For the price I was impressed. Keep in mind I have never used an external mic for video before. For use with a cell phone or vlog camera this is amazing. If you don't have a headphone jack on your phone you will need an adapter.

Great entry level microphone for content creation. A tad tricky to get setup at first, but you get the hang of it really quick

Nice mic for the price and gives good natural sound.

It took me awhile to figure out that the two cables it comes with were not the same (one is for cameras and the other is for phones if I remember correctly) but other than that, it works great!
