Bought in a Pinch, Works like a Champ!

I bought this over Rõde - which is my primary shotgun, and my wireless - because it was the only one in stock. I can't be happier about this purchase. Works great and mounts easily on my smallest portable camera tripod.

It does, however, work with my Sony IC Recorder, but since the recorder I've got is one of the latest models, it's built in mic is so good that this thing only comes in handy for recording things in the distance.

Good For The Price

Wind noise can be very prominent. That said, the sound is far superior than just using the camera mic. If you want an external mic that attaches to the camera and are on a tight budget, this mic is a decent option.
