I have only used this once so far but I am impressed with the quality of sound it is able to capture. Filming indoors in an apartment with thin walls, that is right in the flight path of planes landing at LAX I thought that my audio was going to be horrid. I was presently surprised on how well it did. Be sure you have an understanding of how to properly lever your audio and you should be fine!!! If you don't monitor and adjust levels as need be!

I have used these mics in many situations and they have not failed to impress me. Mic up my granddaughters while they were on stage and filmed from the audience. Worked great. The audio was good.

Purchased this set of microphones, hoping to have something smaller and easier to carry than the AudioTechnica setup I use for remotes. Received the set, and gave the batteries a good overnight charge. Found documentation to be solid... it was simple to pair the transmitters and receiver... easy to adjust the level out of the transmitters... everything was looking great.
Only one problem: the audio level out of the receiver was never anywhere near proper line level output. My camera couldn't even pick up the audio. Even when output directly to a set of amplified computer speakers, the audio was so low you could hardly hear it, even with amplification turned up to 10. My suspicion was that the receiver was defective. That's OK, defects happen, figured I'd just contact the vendor and get a replacement receiver shipped.
Tried contacting Saramonic support. Found that they actually don't have any. It's true, they really don't have product support. Their FAQ is all about questions that might coming up from a sales perspective, not technical issues, and there's no troubleshooting guidance at all. They have a contact form on their website where your entry will be ignored. They also have a live chat feature on their website; the day I tried it, it showed that 'Alex' and 'John' were both online, and it also showed that my original message to them was read within a minute... yet an hour later, no response. I sent further messages, no response. I eventually sent a message letting them know that their chat program was revealing to me their names, and also showed that they had read my original message an hour earlier... something they obviously didn't realize, since I got an IMMEDIATE reply from Alex. His curt reply was that Saramonic couldn't help, to just contact the store where I bought it.
I did. Immediately requested a return - a big thank you to Best Buy for making returns so easy! Saramonic is now on my 'do not buy' list for any future hardware needs.

The Blink 500 B2 works great for the YouTube videos my wife and I have been recording. It's really nice to have two separate mics and the quality is great.

I needed these for a wedding I was working. My previous mics bit the dust and was in a last minute scramble to find something. These mics worked great and synced up very well. The audio case through crisp on my Canon 1DX MkII. I was impressed by them and will continue to use them!

Lots of field use. Works great for quick recordings (rehearsals, no crew, etc,) and also used transitory use (street news).
I have a very high boom microphone for my professional work when working with a crew.
Good for amateur and work where high fidelity isn't required.
