Works as advertised with my Chromebook but unfortunately my windows 10 netbook failed to recognize anything plugged into the dock except power. I miss the days where everything didn't have a microchip in it and gadgets like this were universal. I'm just glad I got it at 50% off. Oh, and the case looks like it is made out of metal but of course it's plastic.

I was looking for a way to connect my phone to my smart Sony Brava TV for streaming. 3 reasons for not giving a 5 start review. 1) for some reason I could never determine, this worked on a Galaxy S22 Ultra but not Galaxy S20 FE 5G, 2) spent a couple more $$ for this up to also provide charging while connected to the TV, this is not real effective & 3) worked well for Netflix but not Amazon prime. With the latter, as soon as you select play on the show, phone shuts off. But this could be more on Amazon than the product

This adapter has every port you could ever need. The one downside the the plastic bulid.
