Customers are saying

Customers admire the Slim Multiport USB-C Hub's 4K HDMI port, ease of use, and compact size. Many appreciate its multiple ports and compatibility with both Mac and Windows systems. However, some users note that the device can get warm during use and that the cable could be longer. A few also mention that the price point may be a consideration for some buyers.

compact, and powerful. Not only can it be used on MacBook, but also it works well with my Switch. My switch hub is broken. It is a cheap alt.

Great adapter for a clumsy and busy Mom

So far I am very happy with the adapter. I have very active children and pets so I preferred this over another device that looked easier to break off due to the design. Each port has worked well with the MacBook. It’s very user friendly since keeping up with all the new tech is a challenge. This adapter fits my needs perfectly. I still prefer a digital camera as opposed to a phone (higher clarity). My son likes to make mini movies stored on a mini as card and it has transferred smoothly so far. I would recommend this adapter to active and clumsy people who want the ease of use and quick and smooth transfers.

This thing is awesome; somehow holds all plugs in on my work MacBook Air with ease. Takes less than 5 seconds to read all plugs once device is turned on. I've used ethernet, hdmi, both usbs, the usb-c, and the sd card reader all at once with no delays at all. Totally worth the money, which I was skeptical about at first. May even get another for my personal laptop one day.

Satachi USB type C slim 7-in-1 multiport adapter

Satechi USB type C 7-in-1 multiport adapter with ethernet has 2 port for 4K HDMI, 1 USB-C, 1 Ethernet and SD Card slot. It is slim and easy to carry around. I like the space gray color to match with my Mac Book Pros. At a price around 70$, it is not too expensive because some of them are over 100$ for the same brand. I used 1 HDMI to TV and the other USB-C to monitor and both are okay to show up in high resolution as it supposed to be. I was not using the 2nd HDMI port so I don't know it can show up 3 monitors yet. It has SD card reader so it is useful when one's MacBook computer has no SD card slot. I would recommend it to anyone due to its price and usefulness.

This won't be the most complicated review because this isn't a terribly complicated product. I have a 5K Thunderbolt monitor that I use with a Mac and a PC and it's great to be able to swap between the two laptops with a single Thunderbolt 4 cable. The monitor and both laptops are void any ethernet connection, and the there are only 3 USB-C connections on the back of the monitor. The Satechi works great as a way to add ethernet to the monitor that's passed to the laptops and allows me to add a SD card and a few extra USB-A ports. The charging capability of the USB-A ports aren't enough to say power an iPad Pro, but it's more than capable off powering mics and web cams and other accessories you may need. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out!

This is small enough to stay out of the way and works as expected. I wish there was an additional usb port and that the cord was 1 or 2 inches longer.

I'm an IT person for a small company. I've purchased many docks and the adapters for PCs and Macs. This device works perfectly on my Samsung ultra light book. It is very slim and light to carry. I tend to use this for docking. I connect an Ethernet cable, HDMI,USB and I plug in my charging USB-c cable into this device. It passes through the power and charges my laptop at the same time while it is docked. Although it's expensive I highly recommend this product. It is my new standard for clients

It's sleek, small, and does all that I need to support my legacy devices. I was shopping for something to support just an SD card, and found this. I am a IT support tech, and appreciate having the additional RJ45 Ethernet port (especially when wireless is congested in my house), USB-A, and HDMI all in this simple device. The pass-through USB-C charging is a bonus. Everything works on both my HP Z Book and MacBook Air.

I use this little device almost daily! Can't live without it. I'm a photographer so I need to be able to use various small factor storage devices to edit photos and this is the only way I can do so on my laptop that ONLY has USB-C ports. The ethernet port on this device is VERY handy. Does get hot though!!!

This Satechi Multiport Adapter is an excellent choice! It has many ports for a lot of different tech items. It is small and doesn't take up a lot of space. There is very little lag time as well. I just wish it had more one USB-C port.
