Wanted an easy way to connect a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to my laptop. Works perfectly! I've had it for a few months now and I haven't had any issues with the connection. I like that is it very small so it doesn't take you much room on my desk.

Provided me exactly what I needed to hook up my laptop to my big monitor to either switch between or dual screen. The extra port options are nice to know I have too.

Have a device without Ethernet and need more usb ports and could you love with an extra output device? This is the adapter for you. It’s been rock solid and has helped me out with my Chromebook and also when I need a direct network connection for large file transfers.

A much needed addition for the MacBook Air! I highly recommend this for anyone who needs the extra connectivity. Yes, it was an additional purchase, but if you are a Mac user, you do what you have to do. Very compact, lightweight and easy to use.

I was looking for an adapter with Ethernet and this fit the bill for my MacBook. It was an added benefit to have the extra USB ports. Has worked well so far. I really like that there is a port for me to charge my MacBook as well.

I'm using this with a MacBook to drive an external monitor via HDMI and to connect two USB peripherals. Not using the wired Ethernet port in my setup. It works well but gets a little toasty, never too hot to touch but noticeably warm. Also note that the USB port on the device can only be used for charging, you cannot attach a peripheral to it.

This device has multiplied the functions that my MacBook can do. Simple installation (literally plug and play) allows the use of external drives and connection to additional screen on HDMI. Although of no use to me, it allows connection with ethernet. Excellent gadget!

Slum, easy to carry, fits smoothly without having to force it; the price was fair and it has all thr components I need; overall, I am satified with this product!

This dock station can be taken anywhere and it is compatible with any Windows or MAC device. I have not tested in Linux but I don't see why it should not work

Good item but not optimal for charging computer. Slow connection for mouse’s but good for memory cards

New MacBook Pros are limited in the amount of available ports, so this allowed me to connect all my external equipment.

I purchased this because I needed to have an Ethernet connection a usb headset connection and I needed to be able to charge my Macbook air while I work from home. My Macbook only has 2 usb c/thunderbolt ports and that is not enough for me to have 3 devices connected. I noticed that my usb kept disabling due to this hub needing more power or not having enough power to operate. I racked my brain trying to find a solution. I spent hours searching the web, I tried all the trouble shooting I read and contacted Apple support for more trouble shooting, and they seem to think the hub could be defective. After reading the answered questions on Best buy for the fiftieth there was an answer to a question regarding AC power, the answer was hidden in the additional answers. It said for this device to work better and to get the most out of all the devises connected you have to connect a usb c power adaptor to it. Once I connected my Apple USB C power adaptor to it, I have not had a problem (fingers crossed). All the time and research I spent trying to find a solution it would have been nice if that was posted in the specs. This hub is compact and easy to set up, it has a SD and Micro SD slot that I will not use so that is a waste for me and I am not sure if I am going to keep this hub. I will use it with the power connected for a couple of more days I will make a decide if I take it back or keep it.

Great adapter, especially when thin laptops don't come equipped with all the ports you might need. It's also small enough pack in the laptop bag.

This is a nifty, and very portable, little item. I'm very happy with it except for one thing -- the ethernet port does not work with my actual ethernet cable! I had to use a different device to hook up my laptop to the ethernet.
