Issue with the video. Had to bypass the USB-C port for the video to work all the time.

I was skeptical about this dock as it was only sold by bestbuy and no other info about it seemed to have existed about it elsewhere online. It was also on sale for $250 (cheaper than nearly every other comparable TB3/4 dock), had 3 TB4 pass throughs, 4 USBA 3.2 ports, 1GB ethernet, and SD slot, combo headphone/mic jack, etc. Not even the popular Caldigit TB3 dock compared to this on paper. It may be too early to give it 5 stars, but so far it's the best hub/dock I've ever used: I have the dock inside the bottom drawer of my IKEA Alex with a hole cut in the back to run the cables through, connected via a long Maxonar TB4 cable that I got on Amazon to my 16" M1 Pro Macbook Pro's TB4 port. I have another Maxonar Thunderbolt 3 to DP 1.4 cable running from the dock to my LG 27gn950-B which runs it's full 4K 144Hz with HDR. In addition to that, I'm running my keyboard from the USB A 2.0 port (since it doesnt need 3.2 bandwidth), the USB A dongle receiver for my Logitech G Pro X Superlight mouse, 2x USB As connected to my Grace DAC and Motu M2 interface, and 2x thunderbolt SanDisk Extreme SSDs. Everything has stayed connected, recognized by my computer, running full speed with 0 issues.

I feel bad to leave 1-star for this product. It was working fine for almost a year until it all of a sudden stopped working. The dock suddenly turned off and doesn't turn on anymore, and the power adaptor is making a weird noise.

I've gone through a number of docks and dongles, trying to find the perfect working combination for my 14" Apple M1 Pro Mac. I've finally found it! This Satechi dock is very well built, provides 96w PD, has 4x USB-A ports and 4x TB4 ports. While it does not have any video output ports, I've found that the OWC TB3ADP2DPT with dual DisplayPort v1.4 outputs works like a charm when daisychained off the Satechi dock. The NIC uses the Realtek chipset, which has built-in drivers for macOS. My only nitpick with the dock is that I wish it had offered a 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps NIC instead of just 1Gbps. But I can confidently say it works great with M1 Pro Macs and macOS Monterey. Strong recommendation!
