I will admit I was put off by the price but it is well worth it. Tons of adapters and it is real aluminum not plastic covers. Also has a longer cord incase you need to have a little more space.

I bought this because I liked the form factor, ports, as well as the detachable cable, but 4k 60hz hdmi is a requirement for me so it's the first thing I tested. It did not work, so I did not test anything else about this adapter. Max output is 4k 30hz. I know for a fact it's not the hdmi cable, because I also bought the official Apple adapter and it worked immediately for 40 60hz with the same cable. I also tried several different high speed USB-C cables to the computer, as well as tried while plugged into an ac adapter, no dice. So it's going back. Can't comment on if this works better with other machines, but if you have a Macbook and need 4k 60hz, I would look at the Apple USB-C adapter or something else. Shame because the form factor of this 9 in 1 is perfect.

It's so easy to use, just plug it in and it works. This multi port adapter works with USB-C, VGA display ports, SD card connector, USB-A ports, and Ethernet. So pretty much everything that I would need to use it for. This worked great with our MacBook and Dell laptop. Can't imagine not having this now that I do. I'm thinking it will make good Christmas gifts for a few people I know.
