Need more I/O ports? This'll do the trick!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Dell laptop with only 2 USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, so unless something I want to plug in fits one of those, it's a lost cause. This Satechi USB-C hub fits the bill. Plug the hub into one of your USB-C ports, then plug the USB-C power into the power port of the hub and both your laptop and the adapter will be powered. Ports included are: 2 USB-C (one for incoming power to to 100W, one for data) 2 USB-A 3.0 ports Micro SD/SD Card reader slots VGA Port (15 pin, up to 1080p @ 60hz) HDMI Port (up to 4k @ 60z) It has two USB-C cords - one that nests inside of the device put easily removable (is only a few inches long), the other is several feet. Keep this device in your bag for on the go, or at your desk like a docking station - either way, it will take care of all of your I/O needs! Great investment!

Best new Travel mate hub it has everything!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Trying this out because of the 9 in 1 ability. And it being USB C. Loved the fact it had an included cord concealed within the multiport. So you don't have to worry about carrying or losing an extra cord. The read and write speeds are excellent. It's stylish and compact. It has HDMI .. it even has its outdated brother VGA haha. For someone looking for a great multiport device this is the one you want! I'd highly recommend

One Sweet Adaptor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Satechi has a well earned reputation for putting out good, quality gear and this 9 port multiport adaptor lives up to that reputation. In fact, I wish I had this adaptor last year when I was doing a lot of travel for work. It would have made my life much easier. Use is simple. Connect it to a USB-C port and you now have multiple new ports. Ethernet, HDMI, and a couple of standard UBS-A ports with a SD card reader thrown in for good measure.. Build quality is plastic but it's a nice, substantial kind of plastic that feels sturdy. The space gray matches my Apple hardware which is nice. The included USB-C cable is of a decent length and of equally good quality. One thing I've been using this for is connected to my iPad Pro to provide me with more flexibility when I'm out and about. So far everything works as advertised both with my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. If you need on the go flexibility then you won't go wrong with this adaptor.

Don’t settle for jCreate garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the jCreate dock that the laptop sits upon, thought it looked nice. It came with an extreamly indepth guide on how to install drivers, specialized software, and specific sequences on pluging ans unplugging the dock to get it to work. It never did, beyond the USB port. Another jCreate dongle I have for ethernet required more specialized drivers from yet another third party company to work. Let’s get to THIS dock. It works perfectly out of the box. EVERY SINGLE PORT. Both USB-C ports work for data (even the one with the power pass through icon) and they work when reversed. Ethernet worked out of the box, HDMI doesn’t flicker like the jCreate USB to HDMI cable. It just works, and it comes with a long USB-C cable, and a short one that stores inside the dock. Honestly, there is a reason Apple sells this brand (but not this dock) in their store. As for the price, well worth it. The jCreate dock was the same price and was a nightmare.
