I was having my early 2000's Panasonic Satellite Radio and GMC 1998 3500 Sierra OEM radio head unit replaced. Having already bought the new Alpine satellite replacement, I found that I needed a new Sat/Radio port, since everything now was built into the new Alpine sat radio and anything that was in the truck from 17 years ago was not usable, since technology has evolved and I needed this new port to make things work. As it was explained it is a 1 size fits all unit, rather than having specific parts for specific units, like 17 years ago. It was at a fair price and went in just like it was made for the truck, as in no installation or performance issues.

The geek squad did a great job adding this module to my car radio installation. A simple call to SiriusXM and I was listening to two month's free music, though I did have to leave my credit card number so that they could charge me for an additional 4 months in the package I purchased. They haven't yet charged my card and won't until the two months are over. Best thing about the receiver is that it has four sections of 5-pushbutton memories. As you cycle through the music on each page, the receiver will start at the beginning of the current song on each channel, once it's had time to pre-download music from the satellite.

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The install was completed within the allotted time and looks like it was done at the factory. The only isssue I had was that we were unaware that we would need a seperate satellite tuner until the day of install, but that was not a "problem" to me.

These guys are absolutely awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. They did above and beyond what i was expecting. I had mulitple installs by the car audio crew and they done awesome work. No complaints. Even when there were some issues they always found a solution.

Turns out they couldn't install it. I waited too long, my equipment was too old.

Josh did a great job installing my new Kenwood GPS, back-up camera, satellite radio, trim kit, system interface, and forward camera in my truck. I wanted the cameras for safely navigating parking spaces, and also wanted a factory installed appearance, and radio operability with existing steering wheel controls. The installation went exactly as planned, and I also received training on operation of the new radio / GPS / camera system. Very pleased with my new radio / GPS / camera system.

The agents installed radio, SiriusXM tuner, and retained all factory options- steering wheel controls, USB inputs, back up camera. They even gave me a refund/credit for an install part they stated wasn’t needed. Only call out which wasn’t a big deal: with Covid 19- make sure you call store to verify hours- my apt set online was an hour before local store opened so I had to wait a bit. Otherwise all went smoothly very happy with results.

I bought a Kenwood radio for my new car that had an older type radio. After reading the reviews for this radio and several others, this radio had all the features I wanted. So I contacted "Nick" in the install bay at the Medford store and he scheduled an appoint for installation. Several days later I took the car and radio in and Nick installed the radio in a very reasonable amount of time. His work was very well done and the radio works great. He even took the time to show me how all the little "goodies" worked. A great job Well done.

The guys did an install in my 2007 Saturn Sky. A small car with a difficult job to perform. They performed my install carefully and meticulously. Everything is covered and out of sight. Walked me thru the total upgrade complete with instructions and all materials that came with the products. I’m very pleased and would recommend anyone to check into having a new upgrade installed by the Geek Squad. I thank they’re the very best. Thank You Geek Squad.

Like the layout and screen but really miss having a volume nob rather than two tiny up down buttons. Sirius interface leaves something to be desired. There is no easy to punch in s station number directly so if you're searching manually for a station you have to scroll up to the top of the categories, select all then scroll back down. If you're trying to select other nearby stations you have to go back to the select all categories and do it all over again. It doesn't stay at that category. Apple carplay is wonky if you're trying to run the Waze app. No display but you do get voice alerts. Using it with Sirius shuts Sirius off everytime a voice alert comes on

The installer was very helpful. At time of purchase the salesperson didn’t mention I would also need to buy a separate component/accessory for the rado, in order for the satellite radio (XM) to work. The installer explained this to me and showed me the accessory I would need, thus saving me a wasted trip to install the radio. I’m extremely delighted with the radio.

Professionals installed the tuner. I purchased the radio a couple of weeks earlier by the professional in the Auto care section. I wish they would have suggested to buy the tuner then. I would have. Instead, i paid for installation services twice.

Justin, the Geek Squad Car Stereo Installation Technician took the time to inform me of the benefits of upgrading my present car audio system and adding on the Sirius XM Tuner. He went over the installation of this unit and illustrated where the tuner would be placed, out of sight and no exposed wires. Assured me that it will be a professional and clean install, guaranteed. Scheduled the install of my Sirius XM Tuner and looking forward to enjoying commercial free programming!

Professionally installed never had a problem, great product so far

The Geek Squad Audio makes excellent installs whether you make the purchase at Best Buy, or another audio provider. My installs have been a series of additions added over a number of years by a Pioneer Avic system which had several features that only could be added with additional components. In spite of the years between each install my complete system works flawlessly. These gentlemen know their work, and perform their skills as flawlessly as the equipment they install.

When I bought my vehicle I purchased a great stereo system that had XM and all the options and all the gadgets little did I know though I had have a module for the XM to work. So I bought the module I’m glad that I spent the few dollars to have it done because I listen to my XM all the time. I would do it again if I had to love my stereo that I purchased along with my remote start

I really believe that statement. Jim and Austin at the Best Buy in Gastonia, NC are simply amazing installers for no matter what you need done. I saw other work they did while we were there in addition to what they did for us and all I can say is Best Buy in Gastonia, NC doesn't realize how lucky they are to have these two guys working for them. I know where I will always go in the future when I need any type of auto stereo work done. Thanks, guys!!

The installation was good. But when I bought the stereo it goes to nobody told me I had to buy a module to activate the satellite radio function so I had to pay an additional installation fee
