The unit was installed properly but I shouldn’t have had to pay for it because I already paid for installation on a head unit

I had a lot of trouble with service because I needed the box to the radio and it was thrown away.

Did the job for what I needed it for the car .....

Purchased Onyx system from SiriusXM, but decided to go to local Best Buy to have it installed instead of trying to do it myself. Not thrilled with 'geeks' who worked on car and almost walked out of store before work was started. I found them to be very rude. Don't talk to me when your mouth is full of pizza. However, I was satisfied with the end result. Much better than if I had done it myself.

I bought the SiriusXm Tuner SXV300 from Amazon and had installed on an aftermarket Kenwood deck. I was able to get in the same day of purchasing the install service and the actual install was completed in less time than originally planned. The reception is great and the whole process from purchase to install was painless, good job Whitehall, store 587!

The 2 guys that did my install were great! Fast but fastidious about what they were doing and explained their procedures. Very happy with them, couldn’t ask for more!

They took the time to do it right, even when there was more than they thought.

It might seem nit picky until you consider it bundled with the rest. After picking up my car I saw the pre and post install check list. Verifying the car clock time was correct before and after install. No go. The clock was not reset after the install. Without turning the ignition on, there was an immediate hissing noise when turning on the stereo. Picture playing an old blank cassette tape. That hissing was amplified when attaching an iphone. The installer, who said "I can fix anything" told me that hearing problems prevented him from hearing that hissing noise. Go figure, someone with hearing problems installing and troubleshooting audio equipment?

Purchased geek squad installation, but when I showed up for my appointment they indicated "price listed on website is not accurate." Instead of the $39 installation, it was really more like $120, although $15 was for an additional part I would need. The unit I was installing was only $50 so I returned it. I was not interested in paying 2.5x what the unit cost and 3x what they told me it would cost. Why not just list the right price to start with?
