The greatest military movie ever!! It surpassed platoon, Hacksaw ridge and all the others! Hanks is phenomenal in this understated performance

I absolutely love this movie when I first saw and I still love it. It being in 4k it never gets old, a must have for any movie collector.

Great war movie as to trying to find private Ryan because of all his brothers died in the war and he is the only one left in the family.

This is the best the movies looked yet! Really love this movie and seeing it on 4K makes it even better! Definitely recommend this!

Approximately my 4th copy of this movie. The 4k transfer is stunning and the sound is fantastic. One of the best WW2 movies ever made.

First off, this is a fantastic movie. Hands down. I own the original DVD, blu-ray and now the 4k version. Unfortunately the 4k version is not much different from the blu-ray. Yes, it's definitely more crisp. And the sound is phenomenal. But they're still many scenes where there is a white glow and firery glow trail from fire's. The original DVD did not have this issue. Only the blu-ray and 4k disc have this problem. Also, there's a lot of grain in the 4k transfer. I understand it's an older movie and it was shot on film. But if you watch Leon (The professional) in 4k version. Which is a few year's older than Saving Private Ryan. You'll notice it's a lot cleaner with almost no grain. Personally I wouldn't buy the 4k version if you already have the blu-ray version. On the other hand, if you have a killer sound system like I do. I would definitely buy the 4k version. I give this 3 star's only because of the sound quality. The Dolby Atoms will blow you away.

Excellent war story and focus on family. The 4k picture quality makes all the action seem live and real. Excellent collector's item

Excellent to see this movie again and in 4K with Atmos sounds just makes the experience. Great to see this again after so many years.

Saving Private Ryan is an excellent WW2 movie. Great storyline, charcters, picture, sound, etc. Definite buy for any war film fan!

I have always loved this movie and the 4K makes it even better. You can't go wrong with this version. Video and sound are awesome!

Saving Private Ryan is 20 years old, yet has never looked so good! Paramount has taken their time and put in extra effort to make this film the best its ever been. The grit and toughness translate well into 4K HDR, and the new Dolby Atmos will make you feel the pain of Omaha beach. A must buy for anyone who knows the struggle that was World War II.

The sound design alone makes the dolby atmos bring you right under the tanks. Watched it on D-day then watched it again in 4k

I watched the original movie in DVD quality many years ago, and watched in 4k quality, and you would not believe the difference

Always a good movie, but in 4K really brings it to even more life. Not for young children, but older teens can watch it.

I think everyone should see this film once, though it can be difficult to view. It's also receives a solid 4K transfer.

Purchased the 4K version for the Dolby Atmos soundtrack and I wasnt disappointed. A must have it you have Dolby Atmos.

Still grainy, still a classic Tom movie. The audio and picture quality are definitely noticeable. I’d recommend having this!
