This is a cool case. Just wish it would hold more than one game

This was a gift from our purchase of the Mario Kart 8 game. The case itself is really sturdy, and great to look at visually. We have children playing around the equipment at times and this helps keep the games from getting ruined or damaged.

This came as a gift with the purchase of the game. Instead of carrying the memory game in its original case they give this fancy metal case, which is heavier, and holds the one game. I don’t think I’ll buy it separately if it wasn’t a gift.

This case is awesome, it is made of steel. I doubt it is bulletproof, but I could see someone in a movie getting shot and then pulling out a steel book case that somehow saved them. The packing slip had $59.99 listed as the cost of this item, which seems quite a bit for an empty case...it is steel not gold. I give it five stars because it came as a free add-on with the game itself, which made the $54.99 for the game a little easier to swallow, especially with the use of a gift card from the holidays.

First of all, I am glad the Nintendo Switch is getting Steelbook support. But, as a recovering Steelbook collector, the design work on this Steelbook is pretty basic. Steelbooks can be absolutely stunning (look at the other Switch Steelbook for Xenoblade Chronicles 2) but this seemed a bit lazy. Despite all that, it is still a Steelbook, and doesn't look bad. If you are a collector (of Steelbooks or games), I'd pick this up. A casual or young gamer probably wouldn't care about this product either way.

It is a nice case, but doesn't seem to serve a legitimate purpose. I wish they would have gave away an expansion pack with more courses instead.

I already recommend people to buy games at best buy, because of the great discounts they provide through gamer's club unlocked. But they also give out great freebies with games that are pre ordered, i even got this one without pre ordering and way after its release date. This is because Best Buy gets enough for people to get at these freebies way after its initial release!

I am not sure why this is a necessary item to include with the game. I really have no use for it and am just tossing it in the recycling.

The case is very well made and is down right beautiful. I feel most people won't get much use out of it, but if you're looking for ideas, look on Etsy. There are people who make multi game holders that slide right into a Switch game case and they work perfect with this so that you can just take a few games with you and just have one case that's very well protected.

I purchased Nintendo Switch systems for my boys for Christmas. The store told me that I would receive a limited edition game case for this game, I was thinking something more than a metal case that was huge to hold one game the size of a SD card. Such a waste. I would imagine that most people throw these things away. The kids keep all of the games in a travel case.

I guess it's cool... Not worth grabbing the game just for this case but if your getting the game anyway then it's nice for free.
