Unnecessary item as I store games in the switch case but I guess a nice bonus for people who store games in this kind of case.

I've been thinking about getting Mario Kart 8 on Switch since it released, but I already had it on Wii U. I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger when they announced this steelbook. I'm a sucker for steelbook cases, and this one is definitely nice. I kind of wish it had the title on the spine, but I'm still glad I got it.

I got this steel case together the Mario Go Kart game. It comes with a memory slot to store the game card. Also the steel case looks fantastic. If you have chance to find it, I would recommend to buy it before it will be sold out. Great addition to my collection.

This is a sturdy metal case for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The artwork outside is quite nice, with a shiny look and Mario gracing the cover. The inside is even more of a treat. There's a lot of color and Mario Kart 8 references. It has a fun look. Definitely worth purchasing MK8 Deluxe with this free gift. I'm glad I got it.

Should've came with the game during launch! Otherwise typical steel book, nice Mario influenced designs.

Wish they did add this the same time Mario Kart came out, since I had to purchase the game again. It is a really well made case and love the artwork inside. I actually was hoping that it would completely hold the game sealed, but it only fits the cart. Really cool to add to the collection and display.

Great steel red case for the MARIO Kart 8 Delux game. Looks great for those who have a video gaming collection it’s a must have. I didn’t open mine because I like to keep mines in perfect condition. Must have for a true MARIO collector. Great quality since it’s a steel case. Details are great.

This came as a free case with the game. Good for transporting games and other small extras.

The steel case functions exactly was you would expect, it holds the game cartridge. That's it though... It doesn't hold the original case, so you're gonna be stuck with an extra case if you acquire this. As there are no game manuals any longer, I really have to question the value. Only get this if you're getting it for free.

I received this product free with my purchase of Mario Kart game. It is a cool looking case, very shinny, but for me there is not much use for it. I think a die heart mario fan would love the case more than me. For free its pretty cool, I would not have bought this on my own.

I wasn't even sure what the free item actually was when I purchased Mario Kart 8 online for store pick-up. When it arrived in the mail I was ecstatic. About a case. Ridiculous? Yeah. Still awesome? Without a doubt. All i have to say is: Build quality. Awesome.

I would've purchased Mario Kart 8 regardless, but this nice little collectible is partly why I purchased the physical version vs digital. It was a nice little freebie and would look nicer on the shelf than the standard plastic case. Collectors will enjoy this.

!!!!! Wow must play. great game for all age groups and good game play,controls. this is the way game should be made. So i hope for more games to be made like this . hope this helps pick the best game for each system platform ,and get the best for your money
