I received this steelbook with my purchase of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (it may have been a reason I bought MK8 Deluxe) and I am genuinely happy with it. It is solid and is a great item for those who like to make their game shelves just a little more appealing.

As advertised, this is a metal box that holds Mario Kart 8 for the Switch. It's, uh, shiny. And solid. And my kid loves playing with it since I like the art on the actual case better. But still, a cool collectible if you're into that sort of thing!

The title of the game isn’t on the spine which is a bummer

This metal game case came free with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. It is well made and is now my preferred case for the game cartridge, as it feels like it offers superior protection versus the standard plastic case.

Case is great I just wish it could hold one then one gane

Seems solid, was glad to see this at Best buy as it seems many stores were out. May sent easily, worth getting if you can as Nintendo fan boys love collectable items. Likely will be worth more than you paid for the game some day.

These steel book is a great addition to those who like to physically collect games. The art design for this steel book is stellar to put on display, and it easily holds your Mario Kart 8 Deluxe cartridge at the same time.

I must admit that I am a sucker for SteelBooks. These are cool and peculiar, because they come in the same size as the game cases for the Nintendo Switch. I really like both the design on the outside as well as the inside.

Our son Liam who is turning 5 got the nintendo switch for his birthday gift. We are glad that we purchased the sturdy case with it to store all his games. We can locate it quickly because of his bright red color and has so far survived all the action. Good buy

I already owned the game on the Wii U, but this best buy exclusive promotion helped seal the deal to buy the new version of the game on the switch. The inside of the case is gorgeous. I wish it were on the outside and the outside design was on the inside.

Went to buy Mario Kart and found this bad boy on top of the shelf. When I took it to the counter they scanned it and it immediately zero’d out once the game was scanned with it. Can’t beat that and great quality!

This steelbook is very nice. I got it as a gift with the Mario kart game. For people like me who prefer to have all their games in one case its probably not the best option. For collectors its a nice addition.

The case was designed by Steel-book manufacturer Scanavo, who previously worked on other collector’s edition packages for games like Assassin’s Creed and Mass Effect. Needless to say, they do stunning work.

it's a nice way to feel like there's a "limited edition". for the longest time, nintendo rarely released limited or special editions. the added steel book just boosts the value to an already stellar game

My girlfriend loves Mario Kart on the Wii U and it was even better on the Nintendo Switch! I wanted us to have our own copy, so I took advantage of this stylish case to go with it. Such a great item!

I love collecting steelbooks, and this is my first ever Nintendo steelbook! It may be light on detail, but the red really pops and the graphics on the case are embezzled so that was a nice surprise.

This case is well designed and beautifully made. I'm not sure why this is separate from the original game case. However, it came with Mario Kart 8 for free and will make for a nice collector's item.

Got this case for buying a game and thought free means cheep!! Boy was I wrong, this great case will protect your Mario kart game as promised and the steel colourful out side is sure to turn heads.
