One great thing about the 130 upright bike is that you can swap out the seat with any standard 2 rail bike seat. Another alternative would be to look into a padded seat cover or padded bike shorts. It operates smoothly and you get a excellent workout. I pair it with my iPad and it has paths to follow like Nice, France and mountains of Switzerland. You can't beat it for the price, very comfortable
