Doing research this is definitely the best value and quality for an air bike. Main base is all assembled. Just have to put the arms and feet on which is very easy

Cheapest Airdyne for a reason, but good enough
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I regularly used the Octane braded Airdyne (basically Aridyne AD pro) at my membership gym. I picked this up because I found it used in mint condition locally for a good price. It doesn't create as much resistance as the Pro, but I still only hit the same peak RPM/speed on this compared to the Pro. The seat adjustment is more annoying, unlike the Pro, you must screw the pop pin into your setting, otherwise it'll fall during use. The console only displays one measure at a time (Pro displays all simultaneously), and you must wait for it to cycle every 5 seconds. The calories burned counter reads much higher than fitness trackers, not sure how it's calibrated. It doesn't blow wind at you as much as the Pro, and it's fairly quiet for this type of machine (compared to chain driven variants). But you're not gonna want to use this while watching TV. The reasons why this one is so much cheaper than the Pro is obvious. But in terms of functionality, it's all you need. It's stable, and well built enough for me to go at it full tilt during HIIT, without feeling any instability. It's belt driven, so basically maintenance free. There's some squeaking from the handles, which can be mitigated by tightening the bolt every now and then.

Aweful seat!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seat is the most uncomfortable thing ever. We even bought a schwinn seat cover with cushioning and it still is so bad you can't stand to sit on it. Also seat seems to push you forward as your riding and makes it even more uncomfortable. Not happy with this purchase.

Posted .Hi!
We appreciate your feedback on your Schwinn AD2 Airdyne Bike. We apologize for the inconvenience of the uncomfortable seat. While we do not sell alternative seats ourselves, you can swap out the seat for your AD2 with any standard 2 rail bike seat. You can locate these at bike stores, and places such as Amazon. Another alternative would be to look into a padded seat cover.
