SMOOTH - also really great. --- however.... the seat handle hits me in the back of my right leg and it must be in that position to be a non-moving seat.... further... the reviews re: handlebars not staying up are true and it's ridiculous. i don't even use the water bottle holders or weight holders because of this. the console is not accurate and the fly wheel resistance know is strange in that i lightened up and it said i went heavier and vice versa too... one of the weight holders wasn't manufactured to fit the weight to boot.... i paid$799 and am at peace with it for the silence and smooth ride. If i was looking at $999. i'd prob go with the SOL 900 for the reasons above. i do like it i just don't love it.

Control for resistance works well. It came with SPD pedals which is awesome and flats on the other side. It also holds the tablet well.

I read that the pedals can loosen over time. I added addition Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 and let it cure before screwing them in. For an even tougher hold you can use Loctite Threadlocker Red 271. It’s held up so far it’s the Blue.

Good bike but maybe too pricey

The extra $400 over the IC3 gets you bluetooth for the heart rate monitor, usb charging capabilities, 3 lb weights, and 1 year of access to JRNY (i haven't used it as I use the peloton app). Its also quite difficult to know your exact cadence on this bike as its just a bar at the top showing you your range, instead of exact number. I believe I'm reading it correctly but could honestly be 10-20 off. Also, you'll need short water bottles for this because when I use S'well bottles and stand up from the seat, my legs hit them.

AWESOME BIKE

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as an upgrade from a friction resistance bike, and I use it primarily with the Peloton app. It was relatively easy to assemble and is amazingly quiet and smooth. I love the pulse monitor and the display. It's also quite easy to find a resistance conversion sheet for Peloton. Overall, I am very happy! I only wish it didn't slip as much when transferring the weight to the front wheels to move the bike around.
