I could only mount it to the louvered vents on my car dash. For hands free, it does okay. To be able to answer incoming calls hands free, was the reason I purchased the product.

Cell phone dash mount

I have a 2024 vehicle and the device will not adhere to the dash. I can only mount it on the window. Also the vent clip does not fit the new vent design. This item will mount on slatted vents. New cars have hexagonal openings and the deive will not mount.

Doesn't really work but cheaper than other options

Well, I have never had another one for comparison, but it certainly doesn't do what it promises to do. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get it to stick to the dash of my car before giving up and using gel tape (and a lot of it!) to make it stick. It's also pretty difficult to get my phone into it and take it out again. I considered returning it but as I said, every other one I looked at cost more so I figured I'd just deal with it. It's not ideal but if you have a way of getting it to stay on your dash I'm sure it's fine for you, too. Oh - and the vent holder is a joke, that just falls right off immediately.
