The stickem on the post that attaches to the dash is worthless. Post keeps falling off when phone is connected. I WILL BE RETURNING IT FOR REFUND

Get the Vicseed Magnetic Mount, it is strong and does not require an ugly piece of metal that you have to stick on your case.

The magnet was too strong over my phone case, and not strong enough underneath the case. I highly recommend to spend the extra money for a clip on version.

Preparation of the surface area and the Scosche product is vital for successful installation. Use the included cleansing wipe to clean the area of the dashboard where you wish to secure the MagicMount. Ensure the cleaned area is dry, then firmly hold down the base of the mount onto the desired dashboard location for 1-2 minutes. For best bonding performance, allow at least 24 hours before attaching your mobile device to the MagicMount. It is recommended to find the flattest, smoothest area in your car that would best suit your needs. Sharp edges and vertical mounting positions may not be optimal mounting locations for the MagicMount. Didn’t work like I’d hoped

Thought I’d try out a new mount as well. So I bought this for my iPhone 12 Pro Max because the sales rep suggested it to me. I tried to install it on the dash of my Mazda CX-9. I followed the installation instructions, which were very simple, but the magnet could barely support my phone. Hitting bumps or turning caused it to slip off. On top of that, the 3M foam wouldn’t stick to my dash (and I was using the piece made for textured/curved surfaces according the the instructions). It does seem like an okay choice for smaller phones, but certainly not the 12 Pro Max. I’m disappointed so I will be returning it.

I was recommended this product by an employee, so I figured why not try it. The adhesive is so weak it could not even hold up a sheet of paper let alone a phone. I was about 2 minutes into a drive when the mount fell completely off my dash. Meanwhile, the mount was placed on a flat surface. I am a medical student and was bummed about having to shell out $20+ when I already have to cut costs. The instructions are also not clear at all. I created a best buy account solely to write a review for this piece of garbage. I hope nobody makes the same mistake I did.
