+The magnetic connection is great. It holds the phone on the stand better than most even on bumpy roads. ~You will want to use the adhesive version of the stand instead of the vent mount if you have a larger phone. It won’t stay pressed into the vents over bumps. The adhesive does come off your dash if you need to remount it. -The charging portion could have been a more widely used connection. It has a USB C but doesn’t use it.

This is the best car phone mount I have found for my liking! I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max so it is a bigger and heavier phone and needs a good strong magnet that won’t just throw the phone off when taking corners which this one stays in place and charges pretty nicely for a car charger.

This product works amazing with MagSafe products. The magnet holds my phone to the dock securely. I haven’t hit a bump or pothole yet that would knock the phone loose from the holder the 12 V plug offers another type C output for charging if needed. Highly recommend this mount have purchased two already one for myself one for my wife we both love it song Charging time is just the same as it would be if I was at home really fast!

This works well with my Casekoo magsafe charging phone case. It clicks right into place and stays secure. The arm is a little shaky while driving, but it's not a problem. I had to turn it upside down to get the upward angle I wanted the phone to sit at because the arm doesn't articulate high enough as it's pictured. At $60 though, it's very expensive.

The charger is great and chargers quickly. My favorite feature is the ease of putting the phone on or off the charger. Having this type of charger in the vehicle helps hold my phone and charges it and the same time.

The ability to mount in several different arrangements is great. My Apple device does mount securely to the alignment ring and you can feel a tactile “click” as the magnets engage. I will say there are two shortcomings I have seen so far. The first is the mount-to-charger arrangement. This only allows your charger to swivel in a certain range, and may conflict with setting it up for optimal viewing. The second observed issue is the ball swivel tension mechanism. It does tighten down to “secure” in an optimal viewing angle, but it is not designed to accommodate the weight of the charger itself, AND any phone attached to it. It will move under minimal vibration from road with a phone attached. For reference, I flat-mounted the charger onto a “ProClip” device. I had to rotate the charger 180 on the vertical to prevent the charger/phone (iPhone 13) from drooping under the combined weight. Unfortunately this will put more strain on the point of the ball where the arm is molded into. Otherwise, it is a decent charger.

I like it when it works, unfortunately it doesn't always work - and it's mostly because the magnetic connection between it isn't as strong as other magnetic mounts. Granted our Oahu roads play a huge role on how well this connects to your phone. When I hit a large pothole - the phone moves slightly and the connection then gets sporadic. The phone after constantly connects and disconnects from the charger - which actually has a negative effect on charging and I ALWAYS have to pull the phone off and reposition it to get the phone to charge again. Otherwise, I like it - when it works of course!

this is overall the best that I have decided to use in my car it can be hooked on your heater or if your heater is on, you can take it off and set it on your side, but it will always be connected because of the magnetic ring in the back of my phone protector

I already had a Scosche Magic Mount for my CD player and bought this kit to replace the main magnet on it with the powered part of the Scosche Magic Mount Pro Charge 5. It fit perfectly and kept my IPhone charged during my last business trip. Also, I used the vent adapter in my wife’s Hyundai Santa Fe with no issues. My phone, using a Best Buy brand MagSafe case, never popped off since I have been using it for over a month. I have yet to try the stick on mount, but I think it will work just as good as the rest of the Scosche products I use daily.

Worth the price - just the right size (not too big) Uses very strong magnet to hold in place ( much better than the squeeze to hold type) Charges Iphone perfectly. Happy I chose this product.

It’s average to say the least. Mounted it which is a breeze, put my phone near it and the magnet attached. Here’s why I dropped 2 Stars. First wherever your going it better be a smooth ride. A hard pothole, a hard turn etc., the phone will fly off. So my advice to you the consumer is to know your route and where you might potentially have to pull it off before it comes off and potentially damage either your ride or your phone. My suggestion to the manufacturer, it needs a stronger magnet.

Works very well - one improvement is that it could be a little more robust to hold steady the larger phones like iPhone 14 prom Max but for for my car it gets supported by resting against a vent so all good. Charges well and magnet is strong.

Great holder and charger. The stock mount is a little lacking but works. I bought an aftermarket slot mount and it is so much better

I use it everyday for work. It keeps my phone charged and the strong magnet sticks with all the bumps.

After a year of owning this the adhesive basically melted off so I can no longer mount it.

It is a good quality product, I highly recommend it, easy to install. And it works very well.

Charges wonders but won’t stay on top off my dashboard the sticky part keeps falling off
