The magnet only works for direct contact with iPhones made out of metal. This is somewhat bothersome because it isn't that strong of a magnet. On the other hand, since I use an Android phone most of the time, it is not a huge problem. The only issue is that Androids are made out of plastic most of the time. This was fixed due to the metal plate with adhesive that is included in the box. This helps to attach the phone. But this only works for one phone. So keep that in mind. The biggest problem with this product is that the way it attaches to the air vent. It is not practical at all. In fact, it is not stable enough. If you move slightly hard while driving, it detaches from the air vent. So, if you really care for stability, look for a different product. Since I drive more carefully and in better roads, this isn't that big of a problem, but for other people it might be. If that is you, I recommend to use the adhesive stand. That one appears to be "permanent," meaning not easily removable, but its better in that case. Picture 2 shows the best way to actually use this product. Good luck!

Woeks great, phone doesn't fall off and adjusts to various angles. Does shake a little with road vibrations but not bad.

Excellent phone holder with a very powerful magnet that actually holds onto the vent well.

Good for a quick replacement. Double sided tape did not work.

I've had lots of phone holders over the last 18 years but this one does it all in his ergonomically perfect. whoever settled on this design deserves a raise lol I'll never go back to any other phone mount than this one.

If you have an iPhone it’s a must have. I have had bad luck with every other phone mount just not working or dropping my phone

I’m honestly starting to get a little disappointed with Scosche products. I had one a simple magnet one in my car, and even with a small iPhone 11 and lightweight case, it would fall off every once in a while. I bought this one thinking the MagSafe would be better, and it is. But it is still struggles to hold an iPhone 14 Pro, much less a larger phone, and it wobbles like crazy, almost distractingly so, which makes the phone more likely to fall off.

Love this thing, works great with one exception: it needs to secure itself to the vent a little better. It's not terrible, but it sometimes gets a little loose and needs to be pushed back into the vent. Other than that, it works great and does exactly what i need it to do.

The magnet is very strong and holds the phone securely. The vent clip is a little less robust and slips a little with the swivel arm installed. Still, better than the last holder with a vent clip and spring-loaded phone holder that I had.

Works pretty well. My phone is very heavy and I was afraid it would not stay attached in the vent. Put it only has come off once and that was due to me twisting and pulling at the phone to reposition it.

The mount itself does okay when on smooth roads. On rougher surfaces the mount easily falls out of the vent. This mount needs a design that can be tightened or can hook onto the vent. The magnet appears to be strong enough for my phone (iPhone Pro Max).

The adhesive on the secondary mount did not work in the slightest even after preping the surface and holding it on the area for 60 seconds. The other mount included is much better however it is still wobbly. The magnet itself is fantastic though.

I love that this product gives me the option of not just being able to attached this mount through my A/C vent, but I can also adhere it to my dashboard if I preferred. My phone doesn't shake or move at all with this little guy. It's built for durability.

The mount tends to slowly slide down once my phone is attached to it. The magnet itself holds great as I have not had an issue with the phone falling off. I just have to tighten the vent holder once in awhile

Great car mount with a strong magnet. I gave it 4/5 stars just because the vent mount isn't super snug, but the dash mount is great.

It does what it supposed to do. Holds my phone securely. In the current configuration I have it in it tends to wobble but other than that it works.

This is one of the best magnetic phone holders for the car i have ever used. Strong magnet. Durable rubber that lasts well over a year, almost 2. Usually i get 6 months out of the vent ones. This one is still going. Only bought a new one just in case. Definitely recommend.

The magnet is almost too strong and is inconvenient to remove the phone from the mount . Well worth it to know that even in big potholes or bad roads the phone won't come off though . I would recommend (above other smaller magnetic mounts that have dropped my phone ( GPS !!!) At a critical juncture because the magnet or vent mount wasn't strong enough

Good quality magsafe mount, strong enough for a third party case or comes with a plate that is almost too strong magnetically that is guaranteed to keep your phone in place. Next mount I buy will be this brand.

After breaking several cheap dash mounts, it was time to upgrade. This dash mount holds my phone when I brake hard or hit the unexpected pothole. No more reaching for the phone on the floor when stopped at the light. It has a strong magnetic plate to hold your phone. Some of the dash mounts can get pricey.
