Have a 2009 VW Jetta with the stock sat radio that I wanted to set up a cheap hands free connection for. Got this and it’s helpful until you wish to speak while driving. Especially with the windows down. The Jetta have a 12V port in the lower part of the center console (old cigarette lighter for those born before the millennials). Well, that port makes it too low for. The condenser mic to be completely effective. Especially in manual transmission cars (if I’d known it would be like this I would’ve tried a different adapter. But the sound from apps is quite nice. As far as recommending, if your power port is reasonably high on your dash, then absolutely. If it isn’t, it becomes a YMMV situation, tbh.

Bought this in December 2023 and it worked great up until a week ago (August 2024) when the Bluetooth would no longer connect to my iPhone or any other phone. I only paid $20 for it when it was on sale so it’s not a big deal. I bought another one and it’s working fine. If it wasn’t for that I’d give it 5 stars. The USB-C outlet charges my iPhone fast or anything else that I have plugged in. Music and audio is very clear on whatever station I have it set to. Overall it’s a great transmitter when it works. Hopefully the new one I bought lasts longer than 9 months. If you can pick it up on sale for $20-$30 it’s a good value.

My car’s Bluetooth doesn’t connect to my phone so this device lets me connect to it instead. I haven’t tried the FM radio mode because I connect the transmitter to my cars AUX port and I have no audio issues when I connect my phone and play music.

Excellent item to update your old original audio system in your vehicle, I installed quick and easy in a 2012 town and country, it works really good

super simple to use just plug it in and connect your Bluetooth. tune into the radio station its broadcasting on and you're good to go. you can even skip songs by using the lever on the side.

I was on the market for a reasonably priced Bluetooth to FM adapter to use my phone in a work van that does not have Bluetooth connectivity for hands free calling. I found this device and purchased it. It is a bit awkward to use, but does work. I only wish the included stereo cable was built better as to not cause static intermittently. The device itself seems a bit cheap. ….like it was manufactured with a 3D printer, but it does serve it’s intended purpose for what it costs. It does stick out from the cigarette lighter power supply a bit and can be somewhat “clunky”. Also, Be advised that the “call button” on the front can be a bit misleading (especially with an Apple iPhone). After trying to figure out this devices little nuances, I just ended up using Siri or initiating calls using shortcuts through the phone. Also, it does get to be a bit of a hassle selecting your call audio as you will almost always have to select the device to hear the call when receiving or making calls, but that is the particular brand and model of phone I am using and not the device itself. I would recommend this if you plan on using it for a vehicle that has no other connectivity and for temporary use, but not as an everyday solution. Also, buy a better quality audio cable. …believe me, it will save you some aggravation if the intermittent static from the cheap included cable annoys you. Other than that, it works.

Great product, love how simple it is to setup in the car and with your phone. Audio sounds great when use the aux plug for this Bluetooth transmitter. Great for this 2008 I own. Love the fact of no cord’s hanging from my phone.

amazing! i have an older car with no carplay or bluetooth and this was one of my best purchases for it yet! there is little to no static and the additional port for charging makes it a plus as well :) def recommend

It gets the job done if you have no other way to connect your phone to the radio, It's a little staticky and for me, it won't auto connect to my phone, I've had better and I've had worse.

Bought to use in my 2013 F-150 so i could listen to XM radio off my phone. Makes it easier to answer the phone while driving. Recommend to anyone needing to add Bluetooth to your older model vehicles

Links to the phone easily. Easy to use. Only reason for not giving 5 stars, regardless of the frequency, i get some sporadic static. Feel like the transmitter could be stronger. But all in all good device

The quality is better than 3 other brands I tried. Doesnt have that static problem and doesnt sound far away like the other brands

I only just learned about this type of device when I purchased a car that was not equipped with Bluetooth. I looked up my options on the Best Buy website, read the reviews on this one and found it in the store. The directions were clear and easy to follow and in a few minutes I was able to use my phone wirelessly and stream music from Spotify. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase and pleased I could find it at my local store without any assistance. The price was well within reason.

This is very easy to set up to your phone. The connection is strong and doesn’t disconnect. I’ve had this for about a month now and I’m very pleased!

Easy to install. Very good quality sound. The bad side is interferes a little bit on radio reception.
