    As a non-fanatic of the Scott Pilgrim franchise, I was intrigued by this game’s troubled licensing history and overall graphical style… the game certainly met my expectations. While it doesn’t appear as brutally hard as most beat-‘em-ups (Meaning a newcomer can actually make some progress) it certainly retains all the best features of the genre, while having plenty of surprises in store as well. Worth owning, for sure.

    I am very happy that this classic was re-released on the Switch. I was able to pick this up as a 'deal of the day' last December for $10 and it was definitely worth the price. My daughter and I have enjoyed the beat'em-up game style and character progression system. If you like classic side scrolling beat'em-ups, you cannot go wrong with this game.
