    A fantastic remaster that buries the old jagged Blu-ray edition. Lush colors, warm tones in places, and a beautiful filmic presentation altogether! Any softness is inherent in the photography as director Wes Craven was forced to fire the main Cinematographer after much of the footage appeared out of focus.

    Picture is nice and sharp. The sound is the same as the Blu-ray as far as I can tell, which is not a bad thing. Definitely worth the upgrade because it is the best the movie has ever looked.

    Wes Craven's seminal, self-aware classic slasher film is back and this time it is in glorious 4K! It's amazing how much this movie still holds up 25 years later. Great filmmaking and a great story combine to challenge your perceptions of what you know to be true of this particular kind of horror film, and no matter how many times you've seen it, it can still surprise.
