I’m gonna start with, It’s basically perfect, I love this thing and would recommend it for anyone that uses a controller on PC. Just stop reading and go buy one. Highly recommended. Seriously, when I unpacked this, I IMMEDIATELY knew I was gonna love this controller. As a PC gamer I primarily use controllers for my gaming experience, so I’m pleased to see Corsair embracing us gamers as well. I usually do shooters, RPGs, adventure, racing, fighting, and sports games on PC and all of them I use controllers with. The occasional RTS, SIM game I just use KB&M. But back to this controller… I am such a fan of this controller. I’d even go as far as to say I’m a fanboy! It’s changed my life compared to my standard console controller! This controller is a high-end controller that offers a number of features that I think will make it ideal for any PC gamer (especially me) that uses a controller! It has a comfortable design with textured grips, and it features four paddles on the back that can be customized to map any button or function. Technically all the buttons are mappable but I don’t know who’d do that or why. There’s also five G buttons on the front and two on the side of the controller, known as the “SAX” buttons that can be mapped as well. The controller also has a built-in headphone jack and a detachable cable, so you can use it wired or wirelessly. In terms of performance, so good, easily recommended for anyone that thinks they’re a pro, but not even close (aka me) and actual pros out there would love it too. It has a fast response time and accurate analog sticks, and the buttons are responsive and tactile. The controller also has a built-in vibration motor that provides haptic feedback during gameplay… if you use that kind of thing. I originally started everything out wired. I had a preconceived notion that wireless would not perform very well. Honestly, when I put it in wireless mode, I couldn’t even tell a difference. Wireless was just as good as wired in my experience. So now I just play wirelessly and the range is surprisingly good. I eventually plan on building a SFF PC for my TV and this range will come in handy when that system is built. The iCUE software was a lot more in depth than I realized it’d be and it did a decent job explaining some of the stuff for me, but I understood enough to tinker. It offered some presets; shooter, racing, sports, etc. that kind of clued me in on what to expect from a default curve to an aggressive curve on the triggers and thumbsticks. I can kind of tell what it’s gonna do and the software allows you to play with the thumbsticks and triggers in the software to see how you’d like it, but ultimately I had to play the game and find out… in comes PROFILES!!! I never thought I’d love profiles as much as I do until I got this controller. I basically set up a bunch of different configurations to test each style out and assigned it to a profile. Swapped profiles to quickly determine what I liked best. I ended up programming my profiles to the G buttons. You can have a single G button cycle, or program a single profile to a button like I did. Once I got there, I was able to modify it to my exact liking. I seriously won’t be able to go back to a standard console controller now. It’s not all good though, the SAX, S1 and S2 buttons, which are located right next to the DPAD and the B button on the side of the controller were VERY hard for me to get used to. In Call of Duty, I kept throwing my lethal and non-lethal grenades on accident when I would clench my grip. I fixed this by disabling them for Call of Duty, but had a profile that setup a key stroke for games like ESO and Lost Ark. TL:DR Pros: *Comfortable design with textured grips *Four paddles on the back that can be customized to map any button or function *Two SAX buttons that can be customized as well *Great wirelessly and wired *Fast response time and accurate analog sticks *Responsive and tactile buttons *Good built-in vibration motor *Great Battery Life *The controller can be customized, different thumbsticks, etc. Cons: *Potential con, soft plastics seems like it’s not that durable, premium material, but seems like it won’t stand the test of time. *Software can be overwhelming for beginners *S1 and S2 are hard to get used to. A lot of accidental presses when enabled (for me) *Wish there was a power button to quickly turn it off, right now you have to press and hold for like 7 seconds. *Not hall effect joysticks. Stick drift may be in my future

The buttons are definitely not the same as paddles, they are stiff, especially the lower ones. I had stick drift on day 2 and had to change the dead zone. The worst issue I had though, was not being able remap the right stick click to fire or just disable. I even tried different button layouts other that tactical and default.....

If you plan on using this controller for the back paddles dont because there garbage and going on my third one because they snap in the same exact spot and im not a hard gamer or button masher just casually playing and all of a sudden i go to press the button and it breaks so as far as the back side design goes they have some major design flaws and need to be corrected for the price this controller cost and on top of that its midnight and have to wait hours upon hours to get it replaced not happy at all after a long day at work and just wanting to get some gaming in and now i cant awesome

SCUF has established a strong reputation for producing high-end, premium controllers, and it's worth noting that SCUF is now a part of Corsair's family after an acquisition, which has pushed the technology of these controllers even further. The packaging delivers excellence and a premium touch. Upon unboxing, I immediately noticed the exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail in how the controller and its accompanying accessories are stored and presented. In terms of design, the SCUF Envision Pro Controller shares similarities with other controllers on the market, ensuring a comfortable fit in hand. It features symmetrical thumbsticks, a D-Pad, and responsive Y, X, A, and B buttons that provide a high level of comfort during use. Additionally, it includes a power button for turning on the controller for wireless use. The controller does include rumble feedback, even though the controller remains lightweight. The matte finish is sleek and doesn't attract fingerprints. The Envision Pro controller is specifically tailored for PC use and offers wired and USB dongle connectivity options. Positioned just below the thumbsticks, there is a panel featuring five programmable G-keys, which can be assigned a versatile range of functions, from creating macros to launching basic Windows programs and managing audio settings. These buttons are accentuated by an RGB lighting strip that runs along the buttons. The RGB effects give it a sense of entertainment. On both sides of the controller, there are the SAX buttons (my favorites), notable for their larger size, which helps prevent any unintended presses. The controller is equipped with four paddles on the back, with the two rear paddles offering a satisfying, mouse-click-like sensation. Additionally, the triggers are customizable, with a conveniently placed lever that allows for easy switching between instant and full-range modes, a feature particularly appreciated during racing games for the enhanced feeling of acceleration. The faceplate is securely held in place by magnets and can be swiftly removed and exchanged within seconds. Hopefully in the future Corsair will release new faceplates for personal preference. The package includes an alternative set of concave and dome thumbsticks, as well as interchangeable SAX buttons, allowing for quick customization to suit your preferences. The true magic of the Envision Pro controller becomes apparent when its companion software capabilities come into action. The Corsair iCUE software unlocks a world of new possibilities, enabling you to personalize and configure the controller with a wide array of configuration options. This software empowers you to fine-tune settings such as vibration, and response curves for trigger dead zones and thumbsticks, and provides real-time visualization while making these adjustments. These preferred customizations can be saved to the profile stored on the controller and easily switched between them on the fly. It's worth emphasizing that many of Envision’s more advanced programmable features rely on iCUE running continuously in the background. While you can save and use controller-based configurations independently, certain functions such as macros or program launches require continuous iCUE operation. Having used the Envision Pro across various games for several days, I can confidently attest that it has become my personal favorite. It offers exceptional comfort and ease of adaptation, an impressive button layout, remarkable programmability, and notably, low latency during gaming. The one feature I would have hoped for in this controller is greater versatility, allowing for use on platforms beyond just PC, ideally including compatibility with Xbox and other gaming systems
