SCUF has established a strong reputation for producing high-end, premium controllers, and it's worth noting that SCUF is now a part of Corsair's family after an acquisition, which has pushed the technology of these controllers even further. The packaging delivers excellence and a premium touch. Upon unboxing, I immediately noticed the exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail in how the controller and its accompanying accessories are stored and presented.
In terms of design, the SCUF Envision Pro Controller shares similarities with other controllers on the market, ensuring a comfortable fit in hand. It features symmetrical thumbsticks, a D-Pad, and responsive Y, X, A, and B buttons that provide a high level of comfort during use. Additionally, it includes a power button for turning on the controller for wireless use. The controller does include rumble feedback, even though the controller remains lightweight. The matte finish is sleek and doesn't attract fingerprints.
The Envision Pro controller is specifically tailored for PC use and offers wired and USB dongle connectivity options. Positioned just below the thumbsticks, there is a panel featuring five programmable G-keys, which can be assigned a versatile range of functions, from creating macros to launching basic Windows programs and managing audio settings. These buttons are accentuated by an RGB lighting strip that runs along the buttons. The RGB effects give it a sense of entertainment. On both sides of the controller, there are the SAX buttons (my favorites), notable for their larger size, which helps prevent any unintended presses. The controller is equipped with four paddles on the back, with the two rear paddles offering a satisfying, mouse-click-like sensation. Additionally, the triggers are customizable, with a conveniently placed lever that allows for easy switching between instant and full-range modes, a feature particularly appreciated during racing games for the enhanced feeling of acceleration.
The faceplate is securely held in place by magnets and can be swiftly removed and exchanged within seconds. Hopefully in the future Corsair will release new faceplates for personal preference. The package includes an alternative set of concave and dome thumbsticks, as well as interchangeable SAX buttons, allowing for quick customization to suit your preferences.
The true magic of the Envision Pro controller becomes apparent when its companion software capabilities come into action. The Corsair iCUE software unlocks a world of new possibilities, enabling you to personalize and configure the controller with a wide array of configuration options. This software empowers you to fine-tune settings such as vibration, and response curves for trigger dead zones and thumbsticks, and provides real-time visualization while making these adjustments. These preferred customizations can be saved to the profile stored on the controller and easily switched between them on the fly.
It's worth emphasizing that many of Envision’s more advanced programmable features rely on iCUE running continuously in the background. While you can save and use controller-based configurations independently, certain functions such as macros or program launches require continuous iCUE operation. Having used the Envision Pro across various games for several days, I can confidently attest that it has become my personal favorite. It offers exceptional comfort and ease of adaptation, an impressive button layout, remarkable programmability, and notably, low latency during gaming. The one feature I would have hoped for in this controller is greater versatility, allowing for use on platforms beyond just PC, ideally including compatibility with Xbox and other gaming systems

The Scuf Envision is a Controller designed for PC Gaming with a symmetrical thumbstick layout.
Inside the Box you get the Envision Pro Controller, USB-A to USB-C cable, Wireless Dongle, USB-A to C adapter, a set of different back and side buttons, plus domed joystick replacements.
The controller itself feels solid, but isn't awkwardly heavy, it has several components that can be swapped, or removed, including the faceplate. There is a switch on the back to switch between wired and wireless mode, I have pretty much just been using it wireless and plugging in to charge. You use the Corsair iCUE software to update the controller and dongle, customize your mappings, lighting, trigger, thumbsticks, and vibration outside of the device settings itself. There are 11 programmable buttons, which you can program to quite a few different options. The Triggers on the Pro can be adjust to pull or instant, there are little switches on the triggers themselves that you switch.
On the SCUF website it shows that the Inner Paddle Remover Tool is included, however the back of the box stated otherwise. Did not find it in my box, but I was able to remove the pre-installed back and side buttons without it, P2, P3, S1 and S2 are removable. I ended up putting back the originally installed buttons back as I preferred those.
All of the face buttons are mouse click, they all give a satisfying click when pressed, but aren't loud enough to hear over your headset, and doesn't get picked up on my mic in chat. This SCUF controller feels like a step up from my previous controller by them, and I felt that one was great! It just shows that the team at SCUF is really owning their craft. This is now my go to controller for gaming on my PC.

ALMOST PERFECT CONTROLLER (PLEASE READ)

I’ll start off with the PROS. The controller is designed perfectly. 4 back paddles, 2 sax buttons on the side, 5 remappable G buttons. So many options to remap your controller to ANYTHING; from keys to macros. This controller is comfortable and the extra buttons fit perfectly. Even then, all the buttons are very “clickly” as a mouse which feels very responsive. Now for the CONS. The software is HORRIBLE. I cant stress it enough. iCUE software is too buggy. Even updating it might mess up your controller. It may even be unusable in certain games where your game will crash for having the icue software on. Stick drift is common with scuf but it varies from person to person. I noticed that the Envision Pro improved from the Scuf Vantage when it comes to the Instant Triggers. Ive bought this controller multiple times and after 2 weeks or so the right instant triggers just stops working completely. I have to turn off the right instant trigger in order to use the right trigger. With Scuf Vantage, they had a small paddle that breaks if you were to drop it. Although i thought it was an improvement with the design, it still fails. I dont think this is a DESIGN ISSUE but rather a software issue because i had decided to use my ORIGINAL controller (I stopped using it due to stick drift). My original scuf envision pro did not have RT Instant Trigger problems at all but after an hour of updating the software it bricks. Ultimately i think the software behind the many problems the controller have. The controller is great but it almost lasts 2 weeks without issues. If Scuf were to copy Sony’s instant triggers, have Hall Effect sticks and a software that doesn’t brick your controller with all the sax buttons and paddles it would be THE PERFECT controller. I will say that for $180-$250, these controllers shouldnt even be having issues in the first place. But it almost feels like these problems exist intentionally so youre forced to buy another controller every now and then. I would much happily replace my stick modules to remove the stick drift rather than buying a whole new controller.

-Clickity and responsive buttons.
-Accurate joystick movements.
-Corsair Slipstream tech = no lagginess.
-Cool LED lighting effects.
-Lots of remappable buttons.
-Programmable G-keys for PC shortcuts.
_____
*Neutral:
-A bit heavy.
-The required iCUE app is not very intuitive and a bit resource hungry.
_____
*Cons:
-None
I own more than 10 different brands of PC gaming controllers and this latest offering from Corsair and SCUF is the best controller I’ve used so far. The controller is very ergonomic and comfortable to hold, and even after hours of gaming, my hand and fingers feel just fine.
The controller looks like serious business with the cool LED lights, extra side and back buttons, and the seamless integration with the Corsair iCUE app that handles firmware updates, lighting effects, and programmable macro shortcuts. The iCUE app feels a bit bloated to me, but it is at least stable, responsive for the most part, and not that hard to figure out how to use. Fortunately, there are lots of video tutorials and articles on the net so it’s not that bad.
The rubberized grips equals to a stable and steady grip, and I like that the rubber is not the lint-attracting type. Every part of the controller that my hand touches feels like quality, and I appreciate that Corsair procured higher-quality plastic and rubber in the construction of the Envision Pro.
The Omron mechanical switches for the D-pad and ABXY buttons feel very responsive, and the pressure required to actuate a response is just right. If you don't like the setting and feel out of the box, you can adjust it to your liking via the iCUE app. I also liked the clickity sounds these switches made.
The fit-and-finish is excellent, as expected from a controller from this price range, and I like that extra replacement parts and components are included in the box for future repairs and maintenance.
For fast-paced FPS games, I still prefer using my gaming keyboard and mouse. But for all the other types of games, like Baldur’s Gate 3, Resident Evil Remake 4, and Elden Ring, I prefer using a gamepad because the Envision Pro is so darn comfortable and fun and easy to use.
Is the Envision Pro gamepad worth the coin? I absolutely think so. It’s expensive, for sure, but you do get nice extras and niceties such as custom LED lighting, custom macro shortcuts, and mechanical switches that will provide years of responsiveness and accuracy. It gets 5 Stars from me, and my strong recommendation.

A Controller Made for PC Gaming

PROS
+ Great ergonomics, softouch faceplate, and textured rubber rear grips
+ Very lightweight
+ Face buttons feel like PC keys, with clicky feedback and very short travel distance
+ Triggers have a manual switch you can use to reduce the travel distance to being very short, which is especially great for fast multiplayer shooters
+ Faceplate is magnetic, so very easy to remove and swap out for other magnetic plate designs
+ Joysticks feel fantastic and the pro controller comes with two replacements as spares
+ You can easily swap out the back inner paddles and side action buttons with included blanking plates if desired
+ A set of mapable macro G-keys along the bottom of the controller for quick shortcuts to common functions
+ Use of RGB lightstrip is subtle yet still customizable if you want
+ Corsair iCUE software makes button remapping, trigger & joystick response curve tuning, and other controller customizations very straight forward
CONS
- Side action buttons are very easy to accidentally trigger, and I quickly found myself blanking them as I just couldn’t hold the controller comfortably without accidentally clicking them
- Back of the controller (apart from the textured grips) doesn’t feel nearly as premium as the rest of the controller, with a simple glossy black plastic that feels cheaper
SO-SO
* Haptic feedback feels good when you notice it, but is pretty subtle, even at 100%, and is limited to the area near the lower grips
* Back outer paddles are convenient but feel a bit more delicate than the rest of the buttons on the controller
* iCUE software is a requirement for using this controller and must be installed on each PC you want to use with this controller, which can be frustrating depending on your use case, but was not an issue for me
THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT
The SCUF Envision Pro Controller wears its intentions on its sleeve proudly, it is a controller made for PC gamers who prefer using a controller to mouse and keyboard, or opt to use a controller for certain genres (like fighters). In order to make itself appealing for PC gamers while maintaining the qualities a good controller needs, it melds together a variety of qualities important to both.
On the controller side, it has tried and true but very solid ergonomics. It mixes the design aesthetics of well-known console controllers together into a layout which feels very natural in the hand and easy to get used to. The default front faceplate is a soft touch matte gray finish which feels fantastic, and the rear grips are a hexagon textured rubber that likewise feel great. I wish that same texture on the back extended on the rest of the rear of the controller, which instead uses a cheap feeling glossy black plastic that clashes with quality materials of the rest of the controller. You also get an array of accessory buttons in the form of four paddles on the back of the controller, and two side action buttons on the left and right upper grips. The rear paddles work well depending on how you want to map and use then (they default to duplicating the A, B, X, Y face buttons), but the side action buttons I found way too easy to accidentally trigger given their location and extremely short travel distance. To avoid hitting them, I needed to hold the controller with a wider than comfortable grip that just didn’t feel natural. In theory they are a good idea given their proximity to the bumpers (which they duplicate by default), but I just didn’t find them very usable for me. Thankfully, you can easily remove them and replace them with the included blanking plates which flattens the spot where they are and makes the controller feel very natural again. Likewise, you can also remove the back inner paddles and replace them with blanking plates if you wish. The back outer paddles are not removable however.
On the PC feature side, you get a lot of tweaks that makes the controller feel a bit more natural for keyboard and mouse players. Firstly, all of the face buttons, including the d-pad and rear paddles, have very clicky feedback and short travel distances, making them sound and feel a lot like PC keys. Next, you get a set of mapable macro G-keys on a bar on the bottom of the controller that you can set to a variety of quick access functions depending on your preference. You can easily remove the faceplate since it is magnetically attached, which means if you have alternative faceplate designs, you can very easily swap them in. Likewise, this makes accessing the removable pieces of the controller super simple. Speaking of which, like you would want from a pro controller, you have lots of hardware swappable buttons out of the gate, meaning you can tune the controller hardware to your heart's content.
On the software side, all of this can be tuned using the Corsair iCUE software, which will detect the controller once connected to your PC, and can be used to manage things like firmware updates, button remapping, thumbstick and trigger response curve tuning, macro settings, RGB tuning, profile setting, and other software tweaking alongside the hardware tuning you get out of the box. One of the features I really like is the joystick and trigger response tuning, which has real time visualizations in the software that show your trigger and joystick response as you move them on the controller. While generally easy to use and integrate, it should be noted that the iCUE software is not a suggestion, but is a requirement to be able to use the controller on your PC. It wasn’t an issue for me, but if you want to unlock the capabilities of the controller, you should install iCUE.
Finally, and most importantly, comes the usability of the controller, and here is where I have almost only positive things to say. I have used the controller for several longer gaming sessions with a variety of genres (RPG, FPS, and Fighters) and it really excelled with all of them. As someone who grew up playing video games on consoles, and came to PC gaming later in life, I still often opt to play with a controller, particularly if I am playing single player games, as I find it much more natural for me. I have used a lot of different controllers, many of which are console controllers I have used on PC with bluetooth, and the SCUF Envision Pro is definitely my favorite. When I first opened it, I wasn’t sure how I would feel with the ultra-short travel distance of the buttons, as they are very different feeling to standard console buttons, but I adjusted very fast. In fact, in my time using the controller, I never had any issues or blockers that held me back from gaming with the controller. Battery life is very long, everything feels responsive and light, and fighters in particular felt great with the fast response d-pad. I was quickly able to get into my rhythm and was hitting combos very quickly in no time. I personally blanked the side action buttons and inner back paddles as I don’t often feel I needed them, but the outer back paddles have been great accessory action buttons. My only real quibble has been on the haptic feedback, which feels very good, but is pretty subtle for my liking, even at 100% strength. This might have been done to save battery, but I would have liked a bit more feedback from certain games. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to mention.
Overall, I have really been enjoying the Envision Pro and what it offers. I am looking forward to trying some additional faceplates and they become available, and it is fun to set profiles for certain genres and games. Even when gaming on GeForceNow, the controller responsiveness felt great, and I have had any issues hitting tough shots in FPS games. If you are a PC gamer who wants to be able to use a controller occasionally or across all of your games, but especially with fighters, I think this is a great choice.

Feels Great When Working, Unreliable Software

I really like the feel of this controller. Scuf used great soft touch plastic on the face plate, with more grippy rubber material on the back handles. The shape/ergonomics are near perfect for me. The back paddles feel nice to press with good resistance levels, and despite primarily being designed to have one finger activate each button, there is a slight edge on the P2 and P3 buttons which allow you to use your middle fingers (so one finger per paddle like the Elite Series 2 controller) as well to activate them. The mouse click buttons are great and I love the responsiveness of them. That's unfortunately where the good things stop though, as the underlying software/support for this controller is absolutely terrible. Scuf/Corsair really need to hire on outside help to figure it out at this point, because the last firmware update for this controller has been bricking peoples controllers. Thankfully, they disabled the update process so that will no longer happen, however, it has been over a month since that occurred with no new update in sight. In the 4 and a half months since this controller has been launched, none of the main issues I have experience have been ironed out.
The main selling point of this controller are the remappable paddles and the "G Keys". It's possible I received a defective unit, but these features are extremely inconsistent at best and non functional at worst. When the Corsair iCUE software is open (which unfortunately is needed if you'd like to use custom mappings on the G keys or see customized RGB colors) the back paddles will randomly stop working. Like they will work at the start of a match and then stop halfway through. As far as the G keys go, I tried to program a macro to auto-walk with just the W key being held down, and despite having the software open and it being mapped correctly, never actually worked at all. Not only did it not work, but even if it did work, some games do not support simultaneous input between controller and keyboard, so because I can't remap the G keys to be just controller inputs (like moving the joystick up to move forward) these games will never be able to utilize this feature until the corsair macro system is changed to support controller buttons instead of only keyboard keys. This seems like a huge oversight to me, but I'd overlook it if the G keys were able to do any macros at all even in games that can support it.
There is also the option to use the controller without iCUE being open though, with hardware mapping, which is great! Unfortunately, you lose a lot of the features that make this a premium controller if you choose to do this, and it still leads to very inconsistent back paddle usage. This is the primary way that I use the controller because it seems slightly more reliable than using the software method. With only using hardware mapping on this controller, the RGB light is only able to be in a rainbow mode, however you can turn off the light all together with the "Eco mode" G5 button. The G keys cannot be reprogrammed while in hardware mode, so they only do things like mute your mic, turn your system volume up and down, mute your system volume and activate the controllers eco mode. When turning on the controller in hardware mode, every 1 in about 5-10 times, the back paddles will all be mapped to A for some reason, despite actually being mapped to A,X,B and Y. If this happens, I need to turn the controller off and on again, sometimes happening multiple times in a row.
The battery life on this controller is mediocre, even with eco mode enabled. I primarily use this wireless, but even wired I still have the issues listed above. It would be nice if this controller was compatible with a charging dock, even if sold separately. The Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra had a better solution in that regard, with the wireless dongle plugging into the dock to free up a USB port, but I wouldn't recommend that controller either. One thing that's really annoying is that the controller will just shut off at low battery, no obvious flashing light, vibration or anything, so prepare to have it die mid fight in game. There is a tiny battery light next to the headphone jack that only cycles between green, yellow and red, but it is so dim that it might as well not even be there. When iCUE is open you can check on the battery level in the task bar, but it doesn't have a percentage, just high, medium or low. Multiple times I've had the controller disconnect and turn itself off even at close to full battery, which is annoying as well.
When this controller works, it feels amazing. The response time is great. Overall, I'd say that this controller truly does have the potential to be one of the best PC controllers on the market, but after Scuf or Corsair failing to sell consumers a reliable product (either due to subpar internal components or faulty software I do not know) I cannot recommend this controller unless you are okay spending a lot of time messing with the software, unplugging it plugging it back in, turning it off and on again, remapping your buttons over and over, and at worst having to go back and forth to return the controller or get it replaced. If you've made it through this whole review and decide you do want to take a gamble on this product, I'd highly recommend buying an extended warranty with it, but it would be a lot better to just have your $180 go towards a product that works out of the box.

Great controller ! Going on about 2 years of ownership and I haven’t had issues . I know Scuf had a bad reputation before I bought this . Yet, I decided to give it a try . Specially since Corsair took over and they are a quality brand. So far I am not disappointed. The controller works great . I occasionally get light stick drift but in certain games only . I don’t mind much since this happens when my deadzone are set to zero . When I first got the controller the Icue software was horrible . Yet, it has been updated and works better than before . I strictly play wired so I have no experience with the wireless mode . Yet , for a controller like this , you probably are going to be wired ( at least you should if you play any game competitively). The side buttons seem more of a gimmick and I’ve never used them. They are easy to hit by accident . You can easily remove them so they are not in your way . The back paddles do take a bit of getting used too as they feel to tight . It does take a bit of time to get used to them but you will . The adjustable triggers work great. Overall I recommend this controller . They have an w version with Hall effect thin sticks . If you get this one get that version . You’ll be better off .

Today, i write a review about the super valid “Scuf Envision Pro”. Off of my initial thoughts when holding the controller was, “optimal”. The clicky triggers & buttons feel incredible as ive only purchased the “Dual Sense Edge” which had that mushy effect on the triggers. After doing latency testing & polling rate testing. The controller isnt the fastest according the Xinput tester (super accurate testing), but dang it feels like theres 0 delay though. Ive also discovered that ‘bluetooth’ & wired version had very similar input delay. If anything, the bluetooth dongle connection had a faster input ????? Other than the nit-picking, this controller is very impressive off of plain feel in the hands. Compared to other controllers, this controller kinda felt like it ‘forces’ ur hand to be in the same position w/ its curves & grooves. Which can easily increase your performance & consistancy of gameplay. Also i cannot stress enough, this controller does not to be overclocked ! This controller easily performs better at factory settings. One last thing, the software. The software for this controller is pretty meh when it comes to polish & speeds (app menu). The options that you get w/ the controller is really good though, as you can change your deadzone types & trigger options etc. One thing you HAVE TO DO is update your ICUE app (it’ll be a slight drag by the way…) but w/ enough effort, it’ll work. You must set your deadzones on your triggers to 4% in order to not shoot on accident. The triggers are pretty sensitive & come with a electronical imperfection out of the box in which you NEED to tweak to your liking. Again, dont read all of this & be turned off as this is the sexiest controller ive used for someone who loves being competitve & all about my performance along w/ convience. The only ick about the controller is the software. As it can be inconsistent, but when you get it started… its really easy from there. I give this controller a 9.5/10 for price, the shape & handling, and the super fast wireless connectivity along w/ the shortcut G keys. This controller is a performance monster & you will NOT be dissapointed w/ this package. Honestly, this thing is gonna be my main for a long long time.

Customizable clicky heaven in a PC controller!!!

I am absolutely in love with this controller for PC gaming. It is hard to even know where to begin, but I will do my best. The first thing I need to stress is that this is not your average price of a PC compatible gaming controller, because it is NOT your average gaming controller! This is a precision-built instrument that is meant to take a controller enthusiast’s performance to the next level!
This first become apparent when you take the SCUF envision Pro out of the box. Pardon my immature enthusiasm, but my first impression of it was, “Holy bleep, every part of this thing clicks!!”. Seriously!!! There are more buttons built onto this thing than I ever imagined having on a controller! And not only that, but ALL of them are utterly precise in their input and feel. There is no sloppiness, no wiggle, no mush, to ANY part of this controller. It is just, art. In feel, it is somehow a beautiful hybrid of my all-time favorite Xbox 360 controller size and palm fill, but the joystick position in in my preferred PlayStation 4 and 5 controller format.
The user customizability is next level, on both a software and hardware level. The front plate is magnetic and comes off with a careful pry and no plastic tabs to worry about snapping. SCUF has unapologetically made this controller USER serviceable. With the front plate off, you are treated to a smorgasbord of excellence in front of your eyes, from the precisely placed joysticks (swappable with round-top alternatives in the accessories included) to the engineering that went into making each of the d-pad clicks feel so on point. The triggers on this model have a hardware toggle throw on each trigger so you can decide whether you want to go the full throw of the trigger for games like Rocket League where feeling the accelerator on your index finger is great, to FPS shooters where turning the R and L triggers to mouse click makes your inputs much snappier and precise. I switch between games from FPSs like Halo to RPGs like The Witcher 3 and car games like Rocket League, so I am immensely pleased by this customizability!
Speaking of more customizability! Remember those multiplicative buttons I mentioned? Well, specifically the side-action (SAX) buttons and the extra paddles on the bottom were difficulty for me to get used to and come out of the box mapped to some button inputs like “Y” already, so that was a bit distracting for me. But was this untenable? No! SCUF makes it so you have options from both software and hardware perspectives! They included button blanks and a pry tool, so you can easily swap these switches out if you are distracted by them like I am. Or, if you like them but want them on, off, or inputting different actions in different games, the software makes it intuitive to swap and customize certain profiles so that these buttons take on new actions! This level of customizability is where you really can see the SCUF cares about EVERYONE’s experience.
Yet another area of customizability, this Envision Pro gives you the ability to go wireless or wired with the flick of a switch and the input or removal of the included gorgeous, USB-C to USB-A braided cable (or USB-C to USB-C with included dongle adapter). I have been using this controller wirelessly the whole time, but if someone was concerned with ensuring there is no latency whatsoever to remain ultracompetitive, the plugged-in option remains as an option for you! On another note of customization are the G buttons on the bottom of the controller and the array of notification lights and signals built into the smart RGB strip! I think this is yet another area where people are going to fall in love and be thrilled that they have so many options for customization and interacting with the controller!
Another thing that SCUF has done here that is really important to me personally given that they have Corsair onboard for this controller, is the ability to load up the controller with hardware mappings and have it save to the onboard memory of the controller, so I can uninstall the iCUE software on my computer if needed. I have a bad history with iCUE software. In years past, it has caused my PC to crash, messed up my RGB programming, and was even getting me booted by Easy AntiCheat for a while during one of my favorite competitive shooters when it would try to query into the game for RGB settings. The software seems better now, but if I have to uninstall it, I know it is not leaving this controller in a bad place!
From the hardest core competitive PC gamers who use a controller at the center of their input experience, to the overeager plebs like me who just want to enhance their controller gaming experience more than they could have ever dreamed, this controller is the way to go! In truth, the controller does not feel like a computer accessory anymore, but an extension of the PC itself, as inextricable as the mouse or keyboard! When I pick it up and turn it on with the press of a button, I feel like I am relaxing into an intuitive and fulfilling interaction with my PC in its gaming functionality. Truly, I think that if you have read this review this far, you just need to buy the controller, because my words cannot even serve to capture a fraction of the joy this controller has been to use and own. Good luck with your gaming journey, you are not going to want to continue it without this SCUF Envision Pro controller!

Ergonomics at a new level

The SCUF - Envision Pro Controller in Steel Gray looks and feels amazing. It is very ergonomic and feels very solid. The customization options it comes with will take your gaming to the next level. It can be from the lighting effects to the buttons. The triggers offer the option to press and go all the way in like a normal controller or limit how deep it goes, and it will be similar to a pc mouse. The process to get it running was very simple for me, my pc picked it up immediately with no need to pair the wireless receiver with the controller. The lighting and options can be adjusted or selected with the ICUE software, and it makes it so simple since I already have other devices that use the same ICUE software. Pros are the comfort and the grip it does not feel slippery the button and joysticks feel very solid, the ability to customize the lighting and button commands take it to a whole new level and battery life is great. Cons I actually don't have any I am in love with the controller and would totally recommend it.

Fantastic PC Controller

I've used this controller for nearly 2 years now and it's been one of the best controllers I've used. I do have some qualms with it but overall the controller's been great The mouse click buttons and triggers were the main selling point for me and they did not disappoint. I play mainly rocket league with his controller so having the buttons feel tactile was a big thumbs up for me and I even played some first-person shooters with this controller and being able to adjust the triggers to instant mouse click triggers was definitely a huge benefit. I did start experiencing some small stick drift, but this was quickly remedied by calibrating it through the iCue software. I did not use the software for the most part besides to change a couple of button mappings. But the software does have a ton of customization with the triggers and the joysticks and you can remap any button to any other button and map the function buttons to any macro you'd like. The only small issues I had with this controller is that it did not feature their anti-drift joysticks but I have ordered the new version that does feature that so hopefully that won't be an issue anymore. Another issue was with the software where you I couldn't get it to save my settings on its onboard memory. So anytime I used the controller I had to make sure the software was open so it could remember all my settings. That might just be user error from me but I was never able to figure it out. Overall, this has been a fantastic controller and I'm hopeful that the new one with a new joysticks will be even better.

Im going to keep this pretty short. I have the PS5 pro controller and the xbox elite series 2. If you have one of those, this should feel like home minus the buttons have a mouse tactile click to them, which i dont mind. Keep in mind that it can be a little noisy for night time play especially if your computer is near someone sleeping but it has a satisfying feel. Its got custom presets and keys you can program. I got this strictly to use with PC and dont regret it. Later down the road, I’ll customize it with different face plate. Id recommend this especially if its still on sale.

Normally I'm skeptical of Scuf products, as I've had one Impact die on me and another get really bad jitter on the left stick, but this one has been amazing so far. Loving the clicky buttons, the fact that you can switch between normal and instant triggers, and the buttons at the bottom for macros. iCue software is a little bit of a mess at times but gets the job done (mostly). Only thing I would've liked added is hall effect sticks but then they couldn't charge you $70+ to send it in for repair. Overall great controller and would purchase again.

Great controller hampered by poor software

I wanted to love this controller. Having recently purchased a high gaming laptop I was looking for a controller experience on the level of an Elite/Edge, but strictly for the PC.
The Envision gets a lot right. While almost entiely plastic it doesn't feel cheap. The pro grip make for a pleasant experience in hands, the tactile mechanical switches on the face buttons are snappy with a pleasing click when pressed, the back paddle placement is great and the additional side should buttons remind me of the Scuf Vantage from a few years ago.
Once thing you should be aware of is some games that call for a double press and hold for gameplay, were inconsistent with the Envision. Games like Destiny and Witchfire had some issues due to the instant button presses not register a second follow up press. In Destiny 2 I was unable to Titan/Warlock Jump n' glide due to the quick actuation. I looked in software and online and found no remedy for the issue which led to my returning the Envision.
But where the controller excels with having all the bells and whistles any gamer could ask for... The Corsair iCUE software is still some of the worst on the market.
Having owned Scufs' in the past I had hoped Corsair would help alleviate quality control issues they were once known for, but what they did was tie an otherwise great controller experience... Sub-par software.
It's bloated and confusing to navigate, having used Xbox accesorie app/ Razer controller apps, which in comparison offer the simplicity of an apple product... iCUE is a mess.
If the software is eventually fixed down the road and a fix is found for the button actuation issues the Envision Pro could be a great controller. For now, just know what you're getting yourself into and if willing to put up with a confusing software suite and finnicky buttons... This controller might be for you.
Otherwise I recommend either the Razer Wolverine V3 tournament/Pro (and now Pro 8k w/o rumble) or the Elite series 2.

I bought this controller because I mostly play on pc and I wanted to try it out. The feel of the controller is awesome! It has four back paddles, mouse click buttons and triggers which feel great! It also has extra buttons that can be used to remap certain commands. For example, I use some of the keys to lower or higher my pc volume. The icue software has been updated now so there are no more issues of it disconnecting while playing. Overall, it’s an excellent controller! The only cons are that it doesn’t have hall effect joysticks, it’s locked at 500htz for input delay, the price, and it’s only for pc. I would also recommend the Best Buy warranty just in case because you never know. They have also released an updated version of this controller with hall effect joysticks so make sure to purchase that one instead of the analog joystick one.

Trying to be honest here, the controller is great. Beautiful and it feels premium, easy to use it is not. If you're not tech savy then it will be slightly problematic to use. Had a hard time setting it up initially. It came with some stick drift which needed to be updated and had to change the dead zones. I have many other premium controllers, would have loved it to have the thumb stick layout of the xbox controller but that is my preference. I have the instinct and the elite controller and the razer ps5 v2. This is up there with them if you have any of these, there is really no point to upgrade to this. Instict is basically the same as this except for the internal battery vs not having one and all the extra buttons than can get in the way (side ones and back ones). The fact that back sticks cant be removed sucks. But over-all I would give this a solid 9/10. Response time and button clicking are superb, time will tell if the dreaded stick drift will rear its ugly head. But on a side note scuf offers 1year warranty with it so that's also a plus.

overall, this is a great controller with extremely versatile features. it has a ton of customization and its own software that makes it easy to configure once you figure this out. I’ve read that there have been issues with features paddles, not working as designed, but have also read that there will be an update sent out this week. (today is 10/27/23)
My biggest issue is that this controller is recognized as an Xbox controller by windows in game and all your button prompts are that of Xbox, and not PlayStation which I’m used to and I can’t see a way to change it. I would rather see “press square to reload” instead of “press x to reload”. after playing PlayStation, my whole life, my mind is programmed, and to change it makes it difficult when it can easily just be shown as PlayStation buttons. the controller buttons say ABXY… but i’m not looking at the controller when pressing a button and the physical layout of the controller is the same as a dualsense (without the touch pad).
also, one other thing, this controller does not have a touchpad even though it kind of looks like it does so in call of duty to pull up the map/scoreboard you need to press the button to the top right of the dpad which looks like two windows. OVERALL, I would recommend this controller and hopefully the update addresses of the fixes that are needed.
I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars only because it doesn’t seem like the controller was ready to be released yet, and it was rushed.
