I've mainly used official xbox controllers on my PC, but was very interested in this one given the SCUF legacy. I don't know when Corsair purchased SCUF, but It seems to have propelled them into household name.
As most people know, SCUF as brand became popular modifying original OEM controllers back in the late 2000s (back trigger modification). Mostly used by competitive players on both consoles.
The ENVISION line is the brands PC centric controller. This is the V2 model which adds hall effect sticks.
INTITIAL IMPRESSIONS:
Very premium unboxing experience. Nothing to really fault. You get the controller, two extra thumb sticks (one longer), extra block out inserts for the sides, a decent length braided cable (1.5m?) and 2.4G receiver.
USE AND SUBJECTIVE THOUGHTS:
This is being marketed as a PC controller and I sorta figured it would feel like a hybrid between a XBOX and PS5 controller, but I think it leans towards the PS5 more so.. Deal breaker? Not exactly, I'm just not the biggest fan of the ergonomics here, but it's not like its unusable.
Would I prefer more of an XBOX shape? Yes.
Performance is as expected. It's kind of weird to get used to the hair pin triggers.. Seems like I was used to the extra latency of full pull down on my XBOX one.. will take time to get adjusted.
PROS:
-Build quality? Very solid. No real flex and the overall grip is insanely good. Top plate has sort of a hydrophobic coating.
-Innate polling rate? Seems to run around 500hz (2ms) native in both wired and wireless.
-Hall effect sticks (V2 feature) seem to be very stable albeit quite sensitive for micro movement. Could be both a pro and a con, but this can be adjusted as far as sensitivity and dead zones go (software). I really recommend that most people spend time on this to dial in what they prefer.
-Swappable sticks allow for extra control.
-Microswitches on both DPAD and XABY
-G keys (1-5) are awesome. Default volume control.
CONS:
-REQUIRES ICUE to enable XINPUT. Controller is a brick until you download and enable settings..
-ICUE IMHO is still terrible as far as SW goes. but it works and can be uninstalled once you load up the 3 default profiles to the controller. I recommend this as ICUE will interfere with the specific LED's per profile.
-The OMRON switches are a little mushy or lack pre travel. Not what I expected. Speaking of this, the bottom back buttons don't have these microswitches, which is kind of let down. Only top side back ones are clicky.
-The same upper back buttons are hard for me to hit per my grip on controller... just doesn't feel natural, but this is subjective.
NEUTRAL:
-Long battery life, but charges slow
OVERALL:
Aside from ICUE still being terrible vs other SW suites (personal opinion), I think this is a good PC controller if you prefer the PS5 shape and layout. It performs as expected and I don't think many people will be let down by this one.
The benefit of grabbing one of these over a PS5 controller is the ability to have native XINPUT, which the PS5 controller does not support.
The V2 upgrades the original Envision PRO with hall effect sticks, which are less likely to drift over time. This may be worth the upgrade alone for some people, even coming from the original ENVISION PRO.
Would be cool if SCUF/Corsair came out with an XBOX style layout and ergonomics dedicated for PC. Maybe a Valor variant? Just a thought.
There's likely something I missed, but It's pretty hard to really fault all around. 4/5.

The Scuf Envision Pro V2 is one of the most advanced premium controllers for PC and Xbox. It’s designed for competitive players who want maximum customization, fast response times, and superior control in shooters and precision-based games.
5 additional side buttons
• 4 rear paddles
• 2 extra top buttons
In total, you get 11 extra inputs, something no standard controller comes close to offering.
The triggers feature a “mouse-click” mode, allowing much faster firing.
In shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield, the difference is very noticeable. The controller feels solid, high-end, and extremely comfortable.
The textured grip helps maintain control even during long gaming sessions.
I would recommend this to a friend

Easily the best controller I used. I came from years of playing on playstation, so using this felt very natural, but multiple times better.
The mouse clicks are great, I personally like a higher right stick thats domed, and this kit came with just that! The light bar is a cool touch, looked clean (had mine on purple)
I would have liked to see bluetooth since you need the USB it comes with to connect wirelessly, but I do understand the connection is faster via the dongle.
The trigger stops are great. The Triggers have a point and feel aggressive which is what you want for FPS games.
I didnt use the side buttons much but its cool that they were there. The back paddles are in a decent spot, I opted for just the outside rear paddles and used the included coverings for the inside ones so I didnt accidentally click them.
Well built, feels premium. Nice unboxing experience
If you like controller MORE than mouse & keyboard, this is a great one to check

I purchased the SCUF Envision Pro v2 to replace my Xbox Elite 2 controller, and so far it has performed exceptionally well. The build quality feels solid, and I’ve experienced no stick drift or connectivity issues. I appreciate the PlayStation-style layout, which feels comfortable and intuitive during gameplay. The only feature I wish it included is a charging dock similar to the Elite series. Overall, a high-quality controller that I would definitely recommend.

I went through several options before this one, Razer (great controller with horrible software), xbox elite (nice controller but had to use 3rd party software to set buttons to keyboard keys i needed), ps5 elite (solid controller but hated extra software needed and wasnt compatible in all games on steam for some reason), 8bitdo ultimate2 (very nice controller but mappable buttons could only be mapped to other controller buttons in software which is useless for a pc controller), and a few other lesser known brands.
My specific setup is i use the F20 and F22 keys for discord hotkeys and i want the extra buttons on the back of a controller to be them. I used REwasd with xbox elite but if your firmware on the controller lapsed it would black screen your desktop randomly and then you had to go check for an update because it wouldnt tell you there was one needed. The rest either couldnt be mapped to those function keys at all or need REwasd which some games pick up as cheating software (looking at you APEX...)
So i see SCUF is owned by Corsair now and i already used ICue sofrware meaning no new apps needed and i figured id give it a try. I went with this one because it is pc specific and has a ps style thumbsticks which makes the dpad more comfortable when playing older retro games.
Controller is great so far, has several mappable buttons, can be mapped to almost anything including macros or even entire applications, changeable faceplates for customization, thumbsticks and dpads are replaceable, buttons are mechanical so a satisfying click when using, can do custom lighting effects on the light bar and mapped buttons along the bottom, and it feels like a quality controller in the hand.
If you dont need it to connect to a console and only a pc this is a great option and is priced nicely compared to other competitors with similar features.

So glad I got this controller. It feels very premium and the mouse click buttons feel cool. No issues connecting to my PC to play online with my friends. I can see myself owning this controller for years especially with the anti drift hall effect sticks.

While watching countless tech reviews, reading so many tech blogs and already having owned a variety of controllers, I stumbled across the Vantage Pro more than once. This controller leaves nothing to be desired, The software is awesome, the buttons feel great and the ability to just block off paddles and side buttons is amazing. I’ve owned this item for about a month and a half at this point and have had to charge it twice while playign for 4-6 hours DAILY. This thing is awesome and I can’t recommend it enough.

Incredible customization. Hall effect sticks fix the drift I had on the original. It seems like they worked out a lot of other bugs I had on the original. Only complaint is the vibrations are still REALLY weak for a controller at this price and I wish that had been improved for when I want that.

Seems to be a very solid controller, and coming from being a console controller user, it feels really good. The handles are slightly thinner than a console controller, but easy to adjust to. Rear paddle placement and customization options are excellent!

The Scuf Envision Pro is an impressive controller overall — the build quality feels premium, the grip is super comfortable, and the triggers and paddles are very responsive. You can tell it’s made for serious gamers.
That said, I ran into issues using it for Rocket League. The mechanical face buttons are extremely sensitive and fast, which sounds great in theory but actually caused problems with double inputs and inconsistent control during gameplay. For precision-based games like Rocket League, it’s almost too responsive.
I still think it’s an excellent controller for shooters or games that benefit from quick inputs, but for Rocket League players, it might take away more control than it adds. Great product overall — just not the best fit for every game.

if you have a PC, and are debating on this or the dual sense edge, get this. I have both and I promise you this one will last longer, feels better in hand, and has better buttons. Much better buttons.

Here is a polished controller review you can use or post:
This controller has easily been the best option I have used for FPS games and overall gaming. The responsiveness and precision make a noticeable difference in fast-paced shooters, especially with aiming and movement. I use it for every game I play, not just FPS titles, and it consistently performs at a high level. Even when playing on PC, it still gives me the comfort and familiarity of a controller without sacrificing accuracy or control. Long sessions feel natural and comfortable, with no hand fatigue. Overall, it delivers the perfect balance between competitive performance and comfort, making it my go-to controller for all games.
Really good controller wish it worked without ICUE

Really good controller I would give it a 5/5 if you didn’t need to install icue software to use it other than that the trigger are quick and the bumpers aren’t clicky but there super quick with basically a super short and quick actuation the face buttons and the dpad are nice and clicky thumbsticks haven’t drifted at all a probably won’t drift and because there HE but you never know

Honestly best controller I’ve used for PC & feels really comfortable in the hand like the old PS4 controllers or PS3. I never liked the PS5 controllers because they felt bulky this contours to your hand almost. Very customizable mappings and software never had any issue, nice to use when hands get tired of keyboard & mouse. In game movement is smooth, no input lag almost as smooth as mouse.

Great controller and the extra buttons are a game changer. You can set up any macro on this controller. Only thing I’d say is when you get it DO NOT do the firmware upgrade through Corsair. The second you do the firmware upgrade you get stick drift and the joysticks feel extremely sensitive in a bad way.

Very happy with this purchase, I’ve been looking for a controller like this after so many years. The way the buttons click feel really nice and the way the joysticks feel are amazing. 10/10 would recommend this product for those looking for “that” controller!

I got this controller almost spur of the moment. I had been looking into this controller for a few months. My focus was that this was the only controller that has so many fully mappable buttons, and is known and is very popular. I LOVE this controller!!!!! I waited so long because I’ve seen so many bad things and reviews on it.
It all turns out that people just apparently love to complain or just made negative reviews out of boredom. My only complaint is that the should buttons are a little to narrow. In intense sessions, I’ve accidentally pressed the left one while holding the trigger. Can be annoying but, the controller overall is practically perfect for me.

If you are a serious fps gamer this controller doesn’t have the best microadjustments. I would say the v1 is better in terms of that. No stick drift is cool but if you play competitively the micro adjustments is a gamebreaker. Get the v1 and get warranty. Still a good controller but not as good as the v1
