Customers have good things to say about the controller's build quality, adjustable triggers, helpful paddles, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate its lightweight design and ease of use, along with the extensive customization options. However, some customers reported issues with stick drift and battery life, while others found the back buttons to be less than ideal and the warranty period too short. The price point was also a factor in some negative feedback.

Hands down the best controller you can get right now that's got paddles or buttons on the back. Just feels natural in your hands unlike the other controllers similar to this one on the market.

Got stick drift almost immediately. However besides that features are awesome. 3 stars instead of 4 because of scufs customer service/ warranty process
Very sorry to hear about that. Our team should be able to help with this.

This is my second scuf controller , I had one for my PlayStation and loved it so I grabbed this one for my Xbox and love it as well. The grips are my absolute favorite thing about the controller I also have the elite 2 controller but I end up using this controller the majority of the time .

Problems and cosmetic details

The controller has many aesthetic detail problems when bought new, from scratches in the area where the controller is charged to a problem with the rear LT button that gets stuck when put in rapid fire mode. I think this controller does not have good quality control and I think it is necessary to put a warranty on it because I assure you that it will be damaged very quickly. I bought three controllers and returned all three due to problems. Be careful with this controller.

I just picked up the new Scuf Instinct Pro Wireless Controller in white, and holy cow is it INCREDIBLE! Not only is it well built and gorgeous to look at, but the performance is also out of this world!
Let’s get right into why this controller is the only one I would get from now on. At first glance the look of the controller is familiar to an ordinary Xbox controller, this applies to mostly the white and black versions, I will get into that in a moment. While this may look like an ordinary controller, once you pick it up, right away you feel the difference. The grips on the Instinct Pro are so good! It feels so right, where the grip is a softer rubber feel that actually grips, in comparison to the Elite2 controller the Instinct Pro grip is far superior, and the Elite controllers’ grips feel more along the plasticky smooth, almost slick feeling. Not the Scuf Instinct Pro, this grip is strong and boasts a hexagonal pattern with deeper grooves and channels that lock into your hands. The weight is about the same as the elite 2 controllers, but what you will notice right off the bat is the paddles on the rear of the controller. Unlike the Elite 2, these paddles cannot be removed. I like that better. No accidentally flicking off a paddle mid-game in the dark anymore, they are affixed to the controller. The paddles have a cool hexagonal camo pattern that can also be seen in little touches throughout the controller, the sticks, and even the charging cable. The paddles are mappable, so you can make them any button you would like to help assist in the action when gaming. FANTASTIC for those drop-shots, you know what I’m talking about. The paddles feel great and help a lot when gaming, but what’s new for the PRO model of the Instinct controller is the adjustable triggers. There are 2 adjustments, one being the normal smooth long pull and the second being the magical mechanical mouse-click type action that is so incredible, just like a mechanical keyboard, but on your controller. Talk about instant clicks, this reduces the amount of time of the trigger pull and feels as good as they sound when being pulled. Clickity clack.
This controller is customizable. There are so many ways you can make it your own. The D-Pad, the sticks, and the faceplate can all be customized to your liking. Scuf has plenty of different-sized sticks and different shaped D-pads for anyone’s style of gameplay. The faceplates can also be changed out in seconds, so you have the ability to add your own flair to the controller, the faceplates are sold separately, but they have several really cool ones. If you are hardcore set on this controller, you can even get it fully customized from Scuf. The faceplate is magnetic, so it can be easily removed to replace the buttons or swap out the faceplate itself. The button layout is pretty standard to a normal Xbox controller, these ones just feel better. There is still the A, B, Y, X, Start, Select, Share buttons, Bumpers, Triggers, and the added paddles. This Controller has the hookup for a mic, a 3.5mm jack, and a new button for quick mute. I can’t stress the craftsmanship of this controller enough, it is beautiful.
What’s in the box? What comes in the box is the controller, a 6.5ft USB-C cable, 2 stick replacements, and paperwork. Don’t worry, the paperwork isn’t homework, it’s the quick start guide and safety and warranty information.
Out of all the controllers I have ever had, including the Elite controllers, this one is far superior in build quality, functionality, look and feel, and even customization. I strongly recommend this controller to anyone who loves gaming.
Pros:
-Adjustable trigger buttons
-Mappable rear paddle buttons
-Mechanical trigger mouse buttons with the clickity clicks
-Rubberized grips
-Fully customizable from the sticks, buttons, faceplates, etc.
-Easy to customize or replace parts because of the use of magnets on the faceplate and battery tray
-Comes with a power cord if you need it
-Comes with replacement sticks
-Cool hexagonal camo!
-The look and feel
Cons:
-Uses batteries, but I am sure there is a way to upgrade the pack for rechargeable batteries.
-Kinda pricey, but worth every penny!

First off, i was using a turtle beach stealth ultra before this and decided to switch because the stealth ultra off two different purches failed to connect to anything randomly. Ive seen scuf for a long time, and decided to try one out. Boy was that a sour mistake. It was good for not quite a month before the embarrassing quality of it shines. Everything else with this controller is fine thats it. Do not buy at all, you shouldn't have to worry about things like immediate drift when you game

The controller is probably one of the top 3 controllers for current xbox consoles!
The only issues for this specific color would be that the grip started peeling off after 2 months!
Thia problem didn't happened with the other colors!

Feels cheap in the hand. B button started sticking after three weeks (button bottom cut through rubber pad, see pic). Cover plate hole for menu button not open enough on my controller causing menu to open during play. Fixed both but not worth the time or money.
