I bought this for my fiancé and he absolutely loves it. Right away we both noticed how much lighter it is compared to previous models, which makes it a lot more comfortable for him to use throughout the day. The dial for muting and unmuting is one of his favorite features — it’s super convenient and works smoothly.
The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of a couple of small things that could be improved, but overall it’s a great product and definitely an upgrade from older versions. He’s really happy with it, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something lightweight with easy, intuitive controls

Replaced my Xbox Elite core with this controller. Amazing. Zero stick drift and a huge upgrade over the Elite. You will not be disappointed. Ergonomics are great, easy to reach the paddles and just as easy to customize for your preferences

I’ve been using the SCUF Valor Pro Wireless mostly for gaming on Steam, and overall it’s a solid controller with a premium feel.
Right away, it feels slightly better than a regular controller—maybe a bit lighter, and the buttons just feel nicer to press. The triggers themselves feel good too. I’m not a competitive gamer by any means, but even as a casual player, I could tell there was a small improvement over a standard controller.
My biggest issue is with the back triggers. I kept hitting them by accident, especially during more intense moments. The placement feels awkward—having buttons right where you naturally grip the controller just didn’t work well for me, and it ended up being more annoying than helpful.
The controller definitely feels premium, but the price is hard to justify if you’re a casual gamer like me. I mostly play single-player games, and for the cost of one of these, you could buy two or three regular controllers. It kind of feels like overkill unless you’re really invested in getting every possible edge.
Overall, it’s a well-made controller and feels great in hand, but it’s probably better suited for more competitive players rather than casual “gamer dads” like myself.

This controller was a game changer for me. I’ve purchased the Microsoft Elite 2 controllers over the years and have had nothing but problems with stick drift on them. This SCUF controller feels like butter on the thumb sticks. Been playing BF6 with it for about a month now and have had zero issues. The controller seems to fit my hand much more ergonomically than others as well. I love the mouse click style feedback on the triggers too. Amazing controller!

Good controller overall, I like the dpad a lot. The grip texture feels great and premium. Ergonomics are good just not exactly to original Xbox controller. Joysticks are decent just feel a little too lose for my liking, I like more tension. Back paddles are easily accessible but the 2 smaller ones take some time getting used to. Software still in beta, works but still needs some qol fixes. It can get buggy sometimes where your mouse pointer would disappear. Better controller than the Razer v3 pro Xbox controller in my opinion.

Love this controller! I play a lot of FPS games, and having the programmable buttons on the bottom has been a game-changer! I have had two elite controllers before this. I was having some stick drift issues with the Elite controllers and decided to spend the money to get this controller because of the apparent anti-stick drift claim. Read a ton of reviews and then decided to pull the trigger. Having a bunch of rewards to use softened the blow of the very pricey controller but worth it so far.

Feels great to hold, works well since I have larger hands. Changing profiles or connection types (xbox/ pc/ bluetooth) is easy. Negatives are that the instructions offer little to no help on how to perform functions like remapping buttons. Also having an issue where the controller will just stop accepting inputs from both joysticks and the dpad, but all other buttons work. Restarting sometimes helps.

Great controller! Ergonomics are good, stick ends could be a little bit longer but it does come with extra long stick ends if you need. Coming from the instinct pro im liking it and getting used to it more and more

Coming from an elite series 2 which developed stick drift after 3 years of use. This controller is great, I like the clicky bumpers and the hair trigger stops. Comfortable finish almost like a non-slip in a way. The dongle connection is strong so no worries there. The paddles on the back are great, it’s hard to accidentally press them.

Bought this for my fiancee for Christmas. He absolutely loves it! He says the toggles and triggers are very smooth and loves that the cover is magnetic which makes customizing the toggles super easy. Bonus no stick drift!

So far the controller is very responsive and the back paddles are very smooth. The only complaint is that this was bought for my son and he says the controller it self is to wide and is uncomfortable in his hand. Compared to a standard Xbox controller

I was not a big Scuff fan until i purchased this controller. It is one of if not the best feeling controllers on the market at the moment. The setup is easy and very straightforward no fuss. It is a must if you like fps games.

Has a good feel and overall layout is exactly the same as you would expect on any traditional Xbox controller. I’m not the biggest fan of the back paddles and how they are placed on the controller. Polling rate is outstanding!

Bought the black/clear version for Xbox Series X + PC in early 2025 for $179.
Pros
• Instant trigger stops + adjustable hair triggers are perfect for FPS (Apex, CoD, Hellblade II).
• Four remappable paddles feel clicky and never misfire (better than Elite Series 2 in my hands).
• Grip coating is excellent – zero slip even after 3-hour sweaty sessions.
• Share button and mute button placement are spot-on.
• Swappable thumbsticks (came with one tall domed, one short concave) actually stay put.
Cons
• Still no Hall-effect sticks in 2025 – but the TMR sticks should compensate just fine.
• Weight is noticeably heavier than stock; takes a day to adjust.
• $179 feels steep when the regular Elite is often $130 on sale.
Bottom line: Best paddles on any controller right now. If you play competitive shooters and hate claw grip, grab it.
