It’s a game changer, it’s unfortunate that it takes buying this specific drive, but it’s definitely worth buying. My games play smooth and I have enough room for endless COD updates and most likely for GTA 6.

This has been a great investment! It's simple to use just plug it in the console reads it and you're good to go. There haven't been any issues running xsx games through the card and there has no drops in performance between the internal drive or the card. (I was rearranging a couple of games I played just because ...yea lol.) I was lucky enough to get the console day one so I ran over to Best Buy and snagged this while trading in my previous gen Xbox. At the time of purchase the price was cheaper than prices of normal ssd by around $5-10. Not that you can use different manufacturer's ssd in the xsx anyway. At least that I know of currently.

Great add on for storage on Xbox

With how big games are getting and consoles having limited storage this was a must. I wasn't thrilled about the price but I have a terabyte of additional storage and all I had to do was insert and it immediately started working. I've used Seagate hard drives on my computers so I knew this would work great. It's very cool to have that much storage is a small form factor and it's solid state. It is pricey but for ease of use and that much reliable storage you have to "pay to play".

Gift to a close friend for christmas. Increased his storage on his xbox series s. Only issue i have woth this product is cost. There are faster nvme ssds for pcs and playstation that are way more affordable than this first party solution. This does have a way easier installation compared to the nvme counterparts on the compititions gaming platforms.

So far so good, really appreciated the extra storage. Im not the go crazy kind of gamer, but i have at least a good 12games downloaded right now with some extra space to go! The performance is flawless, and I've had no issue playing games, would recommend to anyone, though it is kind of pricey. (I had some bestbuy certificates from the cc so i justified the money)

The price is quite high, but now that I gave in and purchased one, I'm glad I did. All of my "Do Not Delete" games had already filled up the Internal Hard Drive on my Xbox Series X, and with Game Pass constantly offering more games, it was obvious that I needed to buy this Expansion Card. It works just as fast as the Internal Hard Drive of my Xbox Series X. It's just nice having more available Hard Drive space on my Xbox Series X. I was surprised at how small this Expansion Card is too. Even though it's expensive, I think it's worth having one if you fill up your Internal Hard Drive on your Xbox Series X or S, especially if you have a Series S.

Must have for Xbox Series consoles

Is this expensive? Yes. Is it more expensive than a similar capacity, name brand storage device for the PS5? Not really. PCIe Gen4 storage is expensive and will be for a while, but this is super easy to install, is the exact same speed specifications as the internal storage, and the Xbox Series console treats it as identical to the internal storage. Plus, you can easily swap additional cards in and out, if needed. Convenience and quality are why it's the price that it is. I like not having to tear my console half apart in order to double its storage capacity.

Modern games are big. If you like to jump around between games you need more storage. This card is expensive but worth it to me for the convenience. I wanted the extra storage for flexibility and I didn’t want any drop off in performance by using a standard hard drive. If you only play one game at a time then you probably don’t need it. If you do want the convenience and play a lot of games at a time then you won’t be disappointed. Snaps in the slot in the back. Took 10 seconds to install and you are good to go.

Got the 1TB card. Stores plenty of games and is fast. Only 2 complaints--1 is the price (though it is on sale frequently), and the other is that you can't manage the storage on the card remotely on the Xbox app on my phone, so if you want to install games while you're out, you have to make sure you have space on the internal storage instead. Other than that, great product.

Great purchase and easy to use. Just plug it into the back of your xbox and its ready to go. With the size of most games these days getting that extra memory space is a no brainer. Easily and quickly transfers games between your drives and xtra storage and are able to play games right off the storage drive.

It's a little pricey, but a must have for the new generation XBox Series X. This SSD expansion drive is made well, and operates equally as fast as the internal 1TB drive built into the Xbox Series X. Lightning fast and runs much cooler than a standard drive. With the sizes of 4K games getting bigger and bigger, as well as monstrous updates, having an additional 1TB of storage space is crucial to being able to store multiple games. This drive will actually give you more available storage space than your internal drive, because the operating system drive is stored on the internal SSD.

With the next gen consoles launching with 1 TB SSD’s and the increase in game sizes due to 4K assets, an upgrade to storage space is a must. While the price tag can leave you hesitant, the setup and use of this sleek/compact SSD Expansion Card truly is plug and play. It connects to the dedicated slot in the rear of the console and works immediately to both store or play games you’ve installed on it. If you have a large library of games and have to deal with internet data caps, this can be a true savior in giving you access to more of the games you love. Cash in some Best Buy rewards points and pick this up!

The storage comes in a good size, and the performance is great. It's just kind of expensive and it's proprietary tech. Still though, I think it's worth it with game pass being such a great value. This makes impulse downloads a lot more appealing. I spend a lot less time managing my storage.

If you're like me, you've had trouble tracking down an Xbox Series X. I recently came across an Xbox Series S and decided to take the plunge. I'm quite happy with it, but the storage is seriously limited. That's where this product comes into play. The same technology that allows for Quick Resume and faster load times is built into this storage expansion card. It's very easy to use, but you will pay a pretty penny for it. This thing costs almost as much as the Series S console. While I get that new tech is always expensive at first, it sucks for early adopters that need a storage solution for their console. You can still use a regular external drive on the Series S (even in conjunction with this device), but you will lose the Quick Resume feature and faster load times. Overall I'm happy with the product. My only gripe is the cost. If you aren't impatient like I am, I would highly recommend you wait until it goes on sale or for a price drop.

Works perfectly. Simple setup. Adds much needed space...Still a little salty that I basically need to purchase this add on to my already expensive console, due to the size of games these days and the inability to play X/S games off of an external HD. Makes sense, I guess, but still a bummer.

This is like magic. I only plugged the SSD into its dedicated slot and it is all done. The storage has been expanded and my Xbox received an amount of storage that I actually need for my games. No hardware efforts were needed it is plug and play. Highly recommend it for those who need a storage expansion. It is a bit pricy but worth every penny.

It's a bit expensive, but man it's fast. I was transferring games between two series x consoles stored on this expansion and was only limited in speed by the Ethernet gigabit port speed. The USB 3.0 speed is a fraction of what this expansion card gets. It's very plug and play. Just be sure to push it in solid. I found I had to give it just a little more to get it to engage. It's very much for those that want more high speed storage and are willing to pay for it. The external HDD that I have doesn't even compare as far as speed goes.
