    This seems to be a good product, but the accompanying instructions are pretty much non-existent. They tell you how to attach the item to your computer, but that's it. There's basically nothing about what it does or how it works.

    Actual hard drive is amazing. Bought it for my Ps5 but the cable that it comes with is pure garbage. Every time the hard drive got touched, or wiggled a little bit, it would bring up that the actual hard drive failed. I switched out the cable for another one I had and that seemed to fix the problem.

    I purchased the product and tried to configure the formatting to complement my macbook. It wasn't working with the instructions they provided so I contacted Seagate's tech help. Their tech help helped me code in the right format and the final population the computer generated was an error. The tech help then told me the product was defective and I should return it. I'm unsure if this was truly the case or what was wrong, but needless to say, I wasn't impressed and decided to just bit the bullet to pay for a monthly cloud service subscription instead.
