If you are a person that needs space and need to take your pictures, mp3s or any files with you, then this drive is for you. I've been using a small drive to store my files and graphics. My computer crash one day and i decided to invest in a drive, but after saving and saving, I was running out of room. So I decided to buy this 4TB drive. It was on sale this past Christmas.

I love this compact external storage drive. It is has enough storage to take care of all my needs! It also looks fabulous and is very easy to carry in my laptop bag! Originally, I was looking for a wireless storage device, BUT after reading countless bad reviews and issues that customers were having with the wireless drives, I said no way. This one is the one for me!

I got this drive to replace/add to my current Seagate 500GB drive, which has become too small. This drive holds my backups for all of my computers, pads, and phones. The price was great and size of this unit is compact. It seems durable and the setup was easy. I am not a big fan of the software that comes with it. I prefer to just access from File Manager and click and drag.

I bought this Hard drive because I travel a lot for work and don't want to put personal things like movies, ebooks, music, etc on my work laptop. I also don't want to haul 2 laptops around so this has been the perfect solution. This HD has been dropped several times and traveled all over the country. I have never had any issues with it and it is reasonably sized.

I needed an extra Hard Drive for backing up my external drive as well as one for mobility. The Seagate is very fast and durable in a very handy package without the need for external power . Now I can take my entire library of files on the go by just plugging in to an available USB slot on my laptop. I also purchased a padded camera case to protect it and store the USB cord.

I bought two of these drives and they are great portable drives, have had no issues, also have a smaller 2TB drive also, this brand has always been a great performer. I like how little this drive weights and makes a great companion to my laptop. I can store music, movies, and office documents with plenty of room for more. Can't go wrong purchasing this.

I have started using these little drives for back up storage. I label each one with the category of photos stored on each and then switch them out when I back up files. Because they don't have to be plugged in, like the desktop drives, it makes it much easier to switch them out. And, for a portable drive, they are reasonably fast.

I got this to put all my gopro videos on to free up space in my computer been using it for a few months it goes every were in my bag small compact and 4t of space wow works great if i fill this one up ill be getting a nother one was looking at a rugged hard drive but for the space and the price this one had the best reviews very happy

I bought the 2 TB Seagate portable drive awhile ago and it works great. I needed a additional one and went back to Best buy to get another 2 TB drive. I notice they had the 4 TB on sale for $119 so, I bought it and I'm glad I did. 4 TB for that price is great and the drive works really good. Can't go wrong for that price.

My PC bit it. This contains my memories. Photographs of friends that have passed on long before their time. Sound bites and videos of my beloved dog. Who saved my life more times than I can count. May she spend her eternity playing and relaxing. But you don't want to know about that. Here is the gist. Just get it. Save yourself the heartache and fear. I have no idea how this magical little red box actually works. I'm guessing faeries are inside. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. My system DIED. Big time died. So dead it deserves a full Viking Funeral. But that's an entirely different story. The great kids that work for Geek Squad both online and in my local store helped me back up all my photos and sound bites that are irreplaceable. Between their knowledge and expertise and the Seagate Backup Plus 4TB. I am all set now. Thank goodness. Seriously, just get it.

I am in the process of converting all of my analog video to digital and creating a consistent archival back up system to organize my files. Getting 4 TB for just over $100 was a steal. My only concern is that these externals seem to have a 2-3 year shelf life before they break down. Hoping this one bucks that trend.

Since I am really BC (before computer), it meant a great deal that this product was small and easy to use. It really is very portable. All I had to do was plug it in and start backing up my computer and saving my photos. It is a great product. I just wish that I could have gotten it in one of the colors (blue or red).

I bought this hard disk to back up my videos, pictures, music, etc.. This is really fast in taking the backup. I really love this product. No external power supply. Work will with just usb port. to make it fast transfer you need to connect to usb 3.0 port for quick and fast transfer. if u need to connect to usb2.0 it will be slow. Pretty good! It just works! It's not exceptionally fast or anything, but it's a lot of storage for a small price. Great stuff!

I'm a photographer, so having backup storage is super important when photos can quickly take up a lot of space on my computer. It's small enough to be able to carry on a regular basis (in my purse) or keep in my laptop bag for easy access to saved images.

Bought this drive to backup our laptops. I was really surprised at the size -- small!! The laptops have legacy USB3 and are backed up with Acronis True Image 2016. Backups run fairly quick. The 4TB also let's me keep a 2nd backup copy of 8 computer Windows 10 Pro OEM images in a ready portable as well.

The reason why I bought it was because it was on sale. Can't believe the price for such a large space portable hard drive. I put it onto my router and acted it as a network shard drive and it worked great. I can put as many files I want and don't need to worry about the space any more.

A good size drive for backing up your files a must for anyone with a game system tablet or what ever. just know that it has a fairly short cable and no your not going to be using any standard cable it is a proprietary cable if i'm not mistaken so don't lose it.

My iMac's Time Machine external hard drive stopped working, so I bought this. It was so easy to get going...basically I just plugged it in and it started backing up my iMac immediately. It's half the size, 4 times the storage, and a lower price than the old hard drive. What's not to like?

We are using one of these to hold eBooks and the other holds videos. A real space saver, and especially handy when traveling, we can take what would be many bookshelves full of books and videos in a well padded box under 1 square ft. for safety. We may get a third for music.
