I live in fire country so I've loaded all my files on this compact drive. Basically, just plugs in and it's ready to go. It gives me peace of mind in the event I need to evacuate. It synchronizes with your computer as well.

I purchased this drive to backup my pictures on the computer. Had another brand in the past but it would NOT work like a thumb drive. I couldn't even see what was on the drive. This one works well and I now have a backup of MANY pictures of trips and grandchildren.

When I sold my original Xbox One, and picked up the Xbox One X, I was concerned about immediately filling up the 1 TB Hard Drive provided on the system. I purchased this 5 TB External Hard Drive to alleviate that concern. It may seem like overkill, but in the long run it was a wise investment. I currently have 43 games loaded on this External Hard Drive and it has only used up 16% of the total space available.

I've got several of these in varying sizes. No issues with any of them. I use them mostly for backup. The speed good for a low power device. If you need a 2.5" drive for a laptop, you will likely save a few $$$ by taking the drive out of a 2TB Backup Plus.

Got this 5TB because it was the biggest portable drive could find that USB 3.0, and it costs less than some non portable drives that only 1-3 more TB in space. And the blue color looks amazing.

Seagate ALWAYS has great drives. This unit has great storage and when it is on sale is a good deal for the money, and they last a long time.

These hard drives on sale are unbeatable. Great way to move data from your main PC to a safe storage location. I will be purchasing more as soon as possible.

5tb. 75 MB/s. Portable. I wish it was faster but it is enough for consumer video editing.
