Bought this as a gift for a grown child and it is exactly what he wanted. He's pleased with it. The red color makes it more fun.

My son had maxed out his Xbox One hard drive despite starting with a 1TB size. This gives him expanded space and still allows game play. I usually get WD drives for externals, but the Seagate was recommended for the Xbox pairing. So far, so good.

This was worth the cost. I was surprised how easy it was to use this as extended storage for my games on my PlayStation. The only downside is that I don't believe this truly 5TB but actually 4.60TB. Nonetheless, it is still plenty of storage for me.

Although the hard drive is a bit slow, copying large video files takes time. For faster file moving I'd get a SSD hard drive although they are much more expensive. For the money, this 5Tb external is great for backing up video files. Works like my other 3Tb externals. I like that they just connect with the standard USB connector.

Stuffing it is not easy, that's a lot terabytes. Anyway works great.

This little but big memory harddrive is sleek and pretty and simple to use.

After losing and then restoring all the data on my hard drive, I bought this drive to backup my data. It was very easy to setup and use the backup software which automatically copies all of my data every few days.

When l first unpacked it thought the hard drive was still in the box. Working good so far. I have it formatted as exfat so my phone and pc can use it. Both devices have no issue with it

Plug it in and it runs great. The primary purpose was to be a simple picture storehouse with backup capabilities. Only problem seems to be that it doesn’t want to disconnect when I want it to. Not a major problem right now because I probably won’t be traveling much any time soon!

I have so many of these now since PCs and Laptops seem to run out of space so quickly. Anytime Best Buy has a sale on these units, I will pick one up. I have not had any trouble yet. I will buy again, in the future.

Totally satisfied with this hard drive so far. only a half TB in and running out of things to store. Got a 5 dollar case to keep it safe and backup cable since this is a special connection.

This backup plus saves me countless dollars as I no longer upload on the cloud. Excellent and easy setup

Great product, no glitches to install and came bundled with useful software (download). It come with step-by-step instructions for both PC and Mac. Great size to sit right atop my desktop.

I love seagate products. I was able to get this on sale for $89.99 so for that price it was a no brainer.

Love the amount of space on these things. But it seems to take a bit longer to prepare the files I want to back up from my MacBook Pro. Other than that, it's a great External Drive. I back up my laptop, my daughter's laptop and my phone files to this. It'll last me for YEARS.
