Bought this to upgrade the hard drive on my PS4, at first i wasnt 100% sure if this would work since i had gotten a smaller one before for my friend, but it works and fit perfectly with no issues, if you have a small storage space on your PS4 I highly recommend getting this

I have several external hard drives and the Seagate's my favorite because it's light and holds a lot and since I have several computers including laptops it stores easily for trips. No problems with set up and works very well. Don't let the size fool you! It holds as much as the "My Book" by WD!

I primarily use this for saving digital titles on for my original 500 gb Xbox One. It's great to hold games you want to play later but not want to take up the limited internal space on the console. Having such a small form factor, it can easily be stored and carried.

For such a slim hard drive, the weight of the drive is excellent. Sitting it on top of my Mac works excellently, and the speed of the USB 3.0 is incredibly fast. I find Seagate hard drives to be incredibly reliable, and thus far, the drive is proving to be as well.

This is a very nice portable drive. Small, lightweight, and fast with USB 3.0. I got a good price during Black Friday 2014 from Best Buy so I felt it was worth it. It comes with backup software but I have not experimented with it. I would recommend this if your looking for a portable hard drive.

I use this hard drive daily for my Timemachine back-ups. It couldn't be easier to configure and setup, literally a one-and-done. I have owned roughly 10 of these for various back-ups and they have never let me down.

got one as backup to our computer. Store mostly pictures in case if our computer take a "break" on us and can't get those valuable memories back. Good size and easy to set up and use.

As a photographer, I need lots of storage room for my photos. This portable device is so handy for that purpose. I can load all my photos onto it, and use it with any computer, whether at home or away from home. I wouldn't be without this storage device!

Loads upon loads of storage in a compact space. Perfectly mobile, and no power cord needed. Just plug into your computer with the usb cord and it's good to go. Got all my family photos, music and documents all safely backed up and room for more. Exactly what I was searching for.

I am always needing additional hard drive storage space that is removable. I store different types of data on different drives. This fits the bill. The USB 3 has amazing speed both in backing up data and just in everyday use of data. The small size is perfect for my computing space.

I was wanting something very small and portable for a good price, and something that I could format to exFAT so that it's interchangeable between my Windows desktop and my MacBook. Sufficient space for my needs and at a good price. Happy with it so far!

I like the size (physical) of this external drive and the 1TB is great too. It works pretty quickly and I have used it a few times to back up my laptop. I haven't had to use the back up yet, so we'll see how that goes when it happens. I think it will workout just fine.

Works for what I needed it for. 2 terabytes using it as external hard time for my xbox1. Looked at price for Xbox one made 2 terabyte hard drive vs this one. And it's 20 bucks cheaper has the same memory. Just had to plug her it and format and boom saved 20 bucks.

I download a lot of movies but I didn't want to fill up space on my laptop. This way I can keep all my movies on the external hard drive and have them with me when I need them. Transferring movies back and forth is very fast and the hard drive is small and light enough to travel with.

I bought this to back up a desktop PC at my business. It works as advertised, write speeds using USB 3.0 were about 35Mb/s but nowhere near what USB 3.0 is supposed to be. To be fair, none of the USB 3.0 devices ever run as fast as advertised. So far, no problems.

I had a 500 MB exterior hard drive that was many times as thick and high as this little beauty. I needed something small and portable to back up my home computer. This Seagate was excellent. Probably way more than I will use at 2TB, but it was so affordable I went for the larger size.

I work as a photographer and travel the world photographing the wildlife. When traveling to Kenya, Tanzania, Canada, or Alaska I can't afford to not have 2 copies of each of my Raw files. It is impossible when on safari to cull photos taken in a day, so all photos takes are copied to 2 - 2 TB external hard drives from my Surface Pro. Weight and size are extremely important when traveling around the world with the new lighted carry on luggage weight requirements. and this drive fits the bill for me.

In the era of digitalization, I am falling short of space quite ofter and always look out for external USB drives. This item I bought during thanksgiving sale and impressed with the performance so far, can be used simultaneously in Mac OS and windows too.

It's got good portability as well as use that you can take on the go if you're really going to need to store a lot of information inside the drive that you want to take from one computer or storage device to another.

I got this portable Seagate 2TB to replace one of my flash backup drives. I like the 2 TB and portable design. I always use Seagate External drives. I have had good luck with them for many years, they have been reliable. I also replaced my 1 TB external desktop one with a 5 TB.
