We have purchased two of these already. They are great to put your movies on when you travel or back up documents or excel files. They are small and light and easy to take on trips both business and pleasure!

Works great gets the job done. Small and compact. All I have to do is plug it in it automatically backs up my MacBook and I can store anything else on it I want to. Super convenient

I've been looking for a portable hard drive with at least 1TB of space for my Macbook Pro 13", and the Seagate Backup Plus Slim is already pre-formatted to read and write files with a Mac system. Great price with the Lyve software included to access videos and picture from any of my other devices!

Easy setup on MAC I can save photos on it and take to the studio then transfer to my computer at the studio. Exactly why it was purchased. Very light and slips in my purse for travel

This external drive is awesome. It works great with my Mac, is small and easy to transport and holds a lot of my stuff. I highly recommend this. Oh it's reasonably priced to boot!

I have many photos and the cloud or my computer did not seem secure enough as a storage place. An external storage unit such as this is better. This Seagate is a great value for the price.

I purchased this to store all my old pictures and videos from my old laptop and current phone. Let me tell you, this is certainly worth the buy. It's super easy to work with. However, since the software needs to be installed in it you only get a little over 900mega but that is still such a steal.

I used this especially for my Apple Macbook air. I had so many Go Pro videos on my computer that took up so much space. This is a great easy product to use. Also the price is very good as well.

My Seagate backup plus is awesome. I use it to store both media files, audio and video files for adobe premiere pro cc, best thing was it didn't hurt my wallet. Get one if you need the space!

This externally hard drive is super portable and could fit in my back pocket while still holding 1 TB of storage. Got this to go with my new Mac and love it so far! Great value!

Hard disk is very light and portable. USB 3.0 is very fast. I had to transfer close to 200GB of data (with one file close to 153 GB in size) and this hard disk got the job done right.

We use these at work for pc so it was a no brainer to get one for my daughter's mac for college. It's easy to use and reliable.

The Seagate back-up for Mac was realistically priced, slim, and easy to install. It was recommended for use as storage back-up. So far, it is doing what it is supposed to do.

This is already great for a backup or extension of disk space needed for a student. Its size is slim (not bulky) and very portable. No need for the more expensive ones in the market.

I had to back up a mac for my daughter. I had not used a mac for a long time. Super easy to do. Not heavy or bulky which is so great as she travels for a living

I really enjoy the Seagate external HD as it has so much room for a good price and is compatible with Mac. I highly recommend this product!

I have this Seagate because my backups for the system overall are mounted in a rack. They are Glyph Hot Swaps and they are each 1 TB and are very fast. But, they are too big and bulky to carry somewhere for data swaps or integration. But the Seagate can be unplugged from the USB 3.0 put in my shirt pocket and taken anywhere I need to be with it, without any hassles or issues. Very handy "little" device with the same power as the big boys.....but not so physically big. In fact it is about one-tenth the physical size with the same storage space and speed. Very nice indeed.

A little difficult to set up at first on my mac but worth it at the end. From storing photos to backing up your entire computer, it's a great product overall.

The Seagate drive is plug and play, with loads of storage. I love the sleek size - you can take it with you anywhere. It has instructions, but one thing that could be improved is the instructions themselves for those of us not too up-to-date on our terminology.
