    We ordered 2 of these drives. One works great with our PC using Windows 8. The other one, in a Windows 10 environment initially worked, then stopped working and didn't show up -hence the mixed review. Not sure if it was the operating system or a bad drive. Best Buy refunded the money and I bought a Western Digital drive, which has a reputation of working better with Windows OS.

    I bought this Seagate portable drive and after 14 months failed and I am unable to access or read any data. I will attempt to find an expert who might be able to forensically extract the data. Had photo's and documents that might be lost forever.
