May not be the fastest drives out there, but they are fast enough for my purposes. The seagate brand is known for quality. A nice general purpose hdd.

PS4 replacement drive

BestBuy wouldn’t return or exchange, LAME!!! Kudos to Seagate 10 minutes on the phone to support, and they had a replacement on the way the next day, received the following day after that! Great support Seagate!!!

The only negative thing is it's really not worth it to buy a 1TB hard drive at all unless you require it for something specific like a PlayStation 3 where you limited about how much you can upgrade. If that's you then your good to go. If not I suggest at least 5TB.

Fast processing, easy setup

Definitely recommend this hard drive if you have a broken Toshiba hard drive. Amazing graphics and works really fast.

It is perfect for the intended purpose and, since I replaced the old laptop, it is now being used as extended storage for the new one.

Working well in a now less-crowded desktop

I tried to have 3 regular sized hard drives in there. It was a mess. Then I noticed an ad for laptop drives and realized there was nothing stopping me from using at least one of those little guys in the machine. So there it is. Working beautifully. Smaller than I even imagined. More airflow now in the machine. Probably will buy another one soon to free up more space. No problem, the replaced drives will be much needed external storage.
