Just needed this for extra room for games and videos on my computer and this does the job nicely. Very easy to set up in the computer and has been working well since I have got it. Speeds are fast as you'll expect from a 7200RPM hard drive but it is reliable. It's a good buy. Even better if on sale.

The CK barracuda tutor by internal sat. A hard drive has been excellent. Addition to my PC setup with a massive tutor by capacity. It provides ample storage space for my files. Games and multimedia, the driver's 7200 RPM speed insurance fast read and right times significantly improving. My system's overall performance installation was straightforward and the drive has been running smoothly without any issues. The SAT a 6 GB is interface. Maximizes data transfer rates, making file transfers and loading times impressively quick. Additionally, the drive is remarkable quiet even. I bought this to replace a WD Black 750GB drive that failed after six years. Two TB is more than I need but was the best value available at the time. Easy setup and works flawlessly. It should or I don’t know what I’m doing. I would recommend this to anybody.

So far so good. Hard drive was easy to install and setup. Drive is fast enough for what i use it for, which is mostly for documents and storage. Would prefer the speed of an SSD, but they tend to fail suddenly without notice. With hard drives you can at least get some signs of pending failure (errors or clicking sounds) before the drive actually dies. A revisit of this in 2yrs would be more accurate in terms of the reliability and performance.

Great storage! Very affordable compared to m.2 ssd storage prices but holds about the same quality and speed. Would recommend for someone looking for affordable storage that’s fast and reliable. Been using it about a year now with no issues or download times. Highly recommend!

Great budget friendly 2TB drive that works great for PC’s or old consoles! I used this one for my soft modded xbox original and it runs great! It has a 2 year warranty, which is kinda short compared to most drives but in my experience HDD’s either last 8+ years or die within months. Would 100% recommend this drive for the price!

I've had this hard drive for quite a while now (over a month or two) and I am not disappointed with the product. It delivers solid performance and quite a lot of storage, really good for storing some heavy PC games in it and/or other big files you don't want on your main system hard drive. 10/10 Best hard drive for storage and with a hard to beat price of $50.

This drive has the best value you can find. I would recommend getting this alongside an NVME SSD to use as your boot drive. Hard drives can be unbearable if windows is loaded on them but if you keep windows on a faster drive than this will give you no problems. I have dozens of games loaded onto mine and I have 0 complaints when it comes to speed or reliability.

I purchased this as a secondary drive to back up files and put my Steam games on it. It works and was simple to install. Don't forget to get a SATA cable, as this does not come with any. You have to format the hard drive after install before it will work. I also bought this same exact hard drive for my brother to use for similar purposes and he has no complaints.

2TB Internal 7200RPM Hard Drive bought for a friend that couldn't access the deal while at work. I had bought 2 of them prior, so I could add space to my PC; it was getting full. Anyway, I thought the sale was still going on when he told me to buy one for him. Works fine so far as I was told. And the price was great.

2 TB is well enough for average user. Using it to store setup files of games, photos, video, music, docs. Very slow comparing to SSD, but cheap. Makes noise comparing to SSD. If you want absolute noiseless system go with SSD. But if you want to save money on storage you know what to buy.

The only..ONLY... reason I gave it a 4 star and not 5 is that the BestBuy website lists the specs as 2TB, 7200RP, SATA 256MB Cache. Nowhere on it (label, PCB labels, purchase order ticket) does it say or confirm the 256MB cache standard (compared to the old days of 64MB..which I am noticing is still relatively common) but higher cache capacity = greater access speed/response. I have noticed that Win10Pro 64bit (the reason for having to get the new HD) is NOT has helpful in finding the information as some of the old MS OS's (**cough cough NT cough*) or other OS's (*cough cough Linux cough*) Win10 shows MS to be up to its old tricks again of freezing out other apps and programs and wants to control every aspect and know EEEEEVERYthing about you while only trying to show you what they want you to see ...but that is not not fully relevant to the HD review. One thing I learned from making several thousand computers (literally) from the wild n woolly days of early HD storage, speed and capacity and specs.. put it plainly on the label for the customer to read.. there was no such info printed on the disk, or the PCB or even the sales ticket... so..I'm still a little suspicious(ish). Eventually I will get around to running a complete disk analysis w/ a tool and if it doesn't confirm the cache size wellllll then we have an issue. But otherwise, it operates like a Seagate should, quiet, efficiently, no heating issues. No detection issues with the MB mfr etc. That part was all painless.. .

My son's gaming computer was using an old 1 TB drive that was filling up. Reviews online suggested this was a good option for a gaming computer because it spins faster than a traditional drive. They were right. It makes a huge difference in the performance of his games. Some games that were unplayable run super smooth now. Not as fast as an SSD drive, of course, but good for secondary storage.

Really reliable and pretty fast I have all my games stored and all my important files and stills runs as good as when I first bought it.

Drive provides backup for 2TB SSD at a good price. Based on past experience, Seagate drives have been very reliable, and, as HDD drives go, this one is pretty fast.

The hard drive is a great value when considering size, price, and speed. Installed easily and works great. My OS is on a much smaller SSD and this drive is used as one of the data drives. Highly recommend!
