Works great, plenty of storage. Had a hard drive crap out on me in the kid's computer and needed to find a suitable replacement. Ive never had an issue with seagate, unlike the toshiba hdd which quit on us after less than 2 years.

This Seagate - Barracuda 2TB was not only in stock, But also it was priced like it should be. Platter drives are basically out do to solid state and M2 drives. But, DVR's do not take advantage of current drives so why spend extra.

In all of my budget PC builds i use an SSD for the boot drive then add this 2TB HDD for mass storage, for about 50 bucks its a great add on for those steam games in your library that are single player or non competitive.

I had to replace a damaged hard drive and for the size and price it was a great deal. This doubles the amount I had before, it’s used for a business computer so wasn’t looking for a ssd or m.2. It has so far been a reliable component.

Seagate Barracuda hard drives are very reliable so find one for 2TB for a little over $50 was a great deal. It's working perfectly as a secondary hard drive on my pc and doing a perfect job. Highly recommend this drive, especially since it has a high speed (7200 rpm)

Nice hard drives for storage at a great price. They fit well into and were easily recognized by an older Buffalo Drivestation enclosure which does RAID 0/1 or standalone drives. Note: you will have to format these drives before use.

Great drive but a little noisy. If doing much file copying, you will hear it a t work. While not loud, it can be annoying. I normally buy Western Digital drives because they last and are quiet. I decided to give this will a try. It is fast. I can overlook a little noise for the performance.

I bought this as a game installation drive for my new gaming PC. SSD drives are a bit too expensive for the amount of storage I needed for all of the games I play. This drive has worked well for the past 3 months.

Seagate drives are one of the best performing legacy drives available. This 2TB drive is no exception. It performs well and a great value to revive OEM failed hard drive or for a new system buildout.

Bought one for my original build. Mostly just for storing some less hard drive demanding games for more of a bulk storage. Liked it so much I bought another for my other desktop. Has very good speed.

This is a 3.5 inch form factor drive and works really well as a secondary drive or for having multiples set up in a Raid Array on your machine (so long as you have room for it, and a controller). I use this as my gaming drive for my gaming rig. 2TBs of space means a lot of games or other media if you want. This of course is a SATA style drive but its hard to beat the price with the amount of storage it offers. I run games off this drive that dont really require a lot. Single player games that dont need to be online for example and it works well. They offer a 2 year warranty on this as well. Not a bad choice at all if you need a 2nd Sata drive.
