If you already have a hard drive with a good amount of storage, at least a terabyte, would recommend getting an internal ssd. But if you don't, then this is the perfect choice, especially when building your first.

It's the hard drive Goldilocks would choose if she had a computer in that fairy tale. It always hits the sweet spot on price, reliability, quiet operation, power usage, access speed and everything else. Every time I ventured out of my safe zone I had a drive fail, so I am just gonna stick with Seagate from now on. This is the drive you want. Just buy it.

Great Hard Drive!

If you are looking for a hard drive, and this is available, then buy it. It works perfectly for storage of photos and/or backups. I am sure that there are other ones, but this one is a cool green. Good luck.
