It is performing well after installation just like my other BarraCuda HDD. However, it does not come with a set of screws that you could use to install into the drive bay of the desktop computer. I have to improvise by looking for screws from my old drives.

Very great HDD, customer service is also extremely great for seagate have exclusively used them since 2020.

Reasonable price for the drive. Seems to work just fine for a spinning drive.

I would say this is definitely worth getting. I think it's for a computer as I had to get the 2tb for my PS4 Pro but these are awesome hard drives period!

Great product...always have trusted Seagate at drives because it phenomenal hardware as well as it software which works perfectly with all their hardware....Will be picking a 8tb unit or 10tb as well.....

I try to buy my electronics from BestBuy but after this experience I think I should have gone to Amazon. I bought this internal HDD and installed it in my PC. This is my third Barracuda and the first two are working perfectly for a long time now. Well not the case with this one. This worked flawlessly for first 20 days and now it doesn't start. There is squeaky sound whenever I start my PC and this drive is not recognized. I have tried to change the ports, the SATA cable etc just to make sure it is not something with my PC. Since it is over 15 days, BestBuy of course doesn't want to do anything with this item and told me to go through the manufacturer. I will try that but don't have high hopes. What I don't really understand that in today's market, BestBuy is offering only 15 days whereas online services like Amazon give you 30 days or more. Anyways, I learned my lesson to make purchases like this at Amazon. Since I have good experience with two Barracudas, I cannot really say that the product is bad. It maybe only this item that I got was defective however BestBuy is definitely not a good choice for such purchases.

This was a great replacement, I purchased it to use on my PS4 and it was not the hard drive, the system was starting to fail, so this went into a 2.5 Case to use as an external.

This product was used for my OG Xbox and it works perfectly in it. It was just plug and play.

Exactly what i wanted and needed. Very well priced and great quality product.

Just what I needed to hoard more data, on to the media server.

I wish I would’ve realized this drive was only 5400rpm. Has very slow read/write speeds. It’s nice for storage of games, music, photos, documents etc.

I wish I could provide a detailed review, but I purchased this item as a Xmas present for a family member (they requested a new hard drive and specifically asked for the Seagate brand), I think they will be very happy with their gift!

Works well as a storage dump but will have noticeable vibrations every now and then

looks fast but somewhow they failed right after their warranty around like litlle more than 2 years.i had 3tb before so now im trying 4tb

The hhd loads at a good pace and can handle games for the pice it cant be beat

Easily attached to my computer and was able to create a RAID 5 across 3 Disks. No problem whatsoever.

Nothing like ssd but it does the job for storage. Don’t run your main computer off one of these. It’s slow and loud. Better off using a fast solid state.
