It stores data as well as a 4TB 5400rpm drive can. It worked with my Dell R520, R320 servers using both the onboard SATA chip (Intel) and the Dell PERC (LSI 9200 I think). Doing the math, it's cheaper to store on 2 of these than it is to store in the cloud for a couple years. Just make to have your off-site backup handy. There isn't much else to say other than it probably does what you expect it to. Don't use it as a boot drive, use it as an archive drive. Hopefully you have 2 (at least).

Needed a reliable hard drive for my Linux based Plex server. This was in a decent price point and from a company that's been around awhile. So far it's been excellent. Just hope it lasts.

Quick and easy to set up. Pc quickly picked it up and works well for backing up games and files.

This Seagate hard drive is 4TB and I got it for $85 which I think is very reasonably priced. I use it only for media backup so it won't be powered on regularly thus I don't have any idea if the drive would hold its own running constantly. Good value for the money.

Got this for a great price. Using it in my PC since 2 months with no issues. I also play and store modern games on it with no issues The packaging box is good and protects from drop shock and static

Installation went just fine and I hope to get many years of reliable storage with this drive. It'll also be swapped into the new build I'm currently working on. Bought at a great price on sale here at Best Buy.

So far so good. I use this as the primary hard drive for my photos. I needed more space since I moved up to the Canon RP. Setup was easy as was installation. Got it during black Friday so the price was nice.

Needed a new archive drive for backing up several machines. This relieves the machines of hard drive space that can be used for other things. I have some older PC's that cannot use anything over 4TB and this fits the bill. Otherwise I'd have to send the backups to the new machine and then to a much larger drive for storage. That would be double the work tying up my time. So this is an adequate solution.

For what it is, its a great price! Get this if you have a lot of games and are on a budget.

Good driven at a good price. Not good for speed, but holds a nice amount of data, and is good for backups. Make sure you have redundancy, if you have data, you value.
