If you are looking for something for office work with nothing intensive this is what you want. I did not know too much about the differences at first and listened to the people at best buy and I can tell you they have no idea either.

A little slow, but a great drive for the money!

With a spindle speed of only 5400 RPM, it's a bit slower than a 7200 RPM drive, but the price makes up for it! A great drive to use for backups or as part of a cheap home RAID array!

I got a lot of space on my pc now to download all my games. I will definitely be buying another one soon to add to my pc. Definitely would recommend this product.

Taking a chance

Had 2 out of 3 that were bad before we even got going. Couldn’t even get initialized to hook up. Had to return those. The 3rd one hooked and connected right off and allowed us to format and everything we should have been able to do right off. Not sure if they had a bunch of bad batches or what but the 3rd one has been stable and now holds lots of videos and photos.
