Had 2 out of 3 that were bad before we even got going. Couldn’t even get initialized to hook up. Had to return those. The 3rd one hooked and connected right off and allowed us to format and everything we should have been able to do right off. Not sure if they had a bunch of bad batches or what but the 3rd one has been stable and now holds lots of videos and photos.

I got a lot of space on my pc now to download all my games. I will definitely be buying another one soon to add to my pc. Definitely would recommend this product.

There are faster hard drives, and bigger ones, but if you get he's on sale like I did, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better value to Quality-value ratio.

Got two of these due to a sale and have them inside a nicely cooled case. Paid less for the two of these on sale than I would have getting one with the same amount of space.

It works well enough for a data storage, but I would only advise using this as secondary storage and put any files that should be read frequently or quickly on an SSD.

Good HDD for Storage and HDD farming

This is a 5400rpm drive, so it is good for storage as a secondary drive. I am currently using it attached to my NAS to store CHIA farming plots, was able to store 78 plots. Moving files using a USB 3.0 hub was 88MB/S

The read/write speeds are really quite good for a standard HDD at this price point. It's quiet. No platter noise at all. When I fill this one up with my work files, I'll buy another in a heartbeat.

This hd is selling for the same price as the 4gb that I bought a couple of years ago. It works well with my 1tb SSD Barracuda.
