    Purchased April 24, 2025. Started infrequently disconnecting from laptop in early June (barely 5 weeks old). It is now disconnecting more frequently. It would be very frustrating if used as a ’working’ drive, and untrustworthy as a data storage device. I would NOT recommend this model for backing up sensitive data. btw: I have 2 of these 14TB units (the other one seems to be fine (for now). I will be migrating sensitive data away from that unit soon.
